“If Gojira were deathcore” that really defines FFAA for me. There are so many similarities between the two bands, not only in sound (a lot of the riffs are very Duplantier), but FFAA are huge environmentalists, with their lyrical-content having a big focus on that, just like Gojira. So yeah, the Gojira-feel is definitely there, not random at all

This record has everything for me. Melodic, deep lyrics, atmosphere, yet heavy AF.

While the music is a bit simpler than what I normally listen to, their vocalist is one of the best in heavy metal today. His lyrics, the sound of his voice, so chilling and powerful. Love the vocals throughout the whole album and that song Unloved... wow. That was a masterpiece. The opening to their song Hydra always gives me chills.
Update: I actually love everything about this album now, even the instruments this time. Warfare is also a treasure on this album. So so good!

Fit For An Autopsy is a special band in my opinion. They have their unique sound. This album is near perfect. No Man Is Without Fear, Warfare and Mourn are my favourites of this album.

What a video man incredible job. Such a good album, one of the best deathcore albums by far. Also I feel like napalm dreams is a super underrated song by them, that fucking ending could bring a tear to my eyes, what a way to end the album

Tell me this isnt the grooviest deathcore band ever. Do the next album, the gojira influences continue and it also gets heavier

Saw them live twice, the best live show hands down. The vocalist Joe Bad stayed after the show and took pics with everybody he could and actually talk to them. Best band in the scene right now imo.

You should also listen to their first album! The Process of Human Extermination has Nate Johnson on vocals and his lows are some of the best in metal imo

I know you normally do your reactions from the Patreon, but I just got my vinyl in and it reminded me how under appreciated this project is. If you ever find yourself with 17 spare minutes of time, you should really check out Pure Like Porcelain (EP) by Like Moths To Flames. Given your love for Currents, I think you'll really enjoy the unique flare LMTF brings to metalcore.

Another absolutely massive album for modern Deathcore, and their newest is only an improvement! Glad to see you starting to find your feet in the genre, it’s definitely on the side of metal that’s harder to adjust to from the outset, and one I didn’t get into for at least a couple of years after starting with Slipknot and the like. But I can honestly say now that Deathcore and Death metal as a whole is some of the most rewarding stuff to get into, when it finally clicks there’s nothing that quite scratches that same itch.

I knew you were gonna be vibing HARD to Warfare. It’s my favorite track, but the whole album is so well put together. Also Napalm Dreams is such a great closer, I always find myself singing my heart out to it. Great video as usual Drew! 🙌
Can’t wait for future FFAA reactions.

Bro this album is goated! You might enjoy some of the works from Orbit Culture too. Both groups have been touring with In Flames and have been heavily pushed by Matt Heafy (Trivium). If you're into emotionally charged songs I'd go with See Through Me, or if you want a nice showcase of what they do I'd try Redfog
keep at it! love your reactions

Nice album, the faster sections also take me out of it a bit, but cool it has that variation I guess. The Gojira inspiration is very apparent to the point I struggle to not call them deathcore Gojira, though.
