Manjurukum Kaalam is a unique family drama from renowned scriptwriter and novelist Joycee, who also wrote for the successful serial ''Amala''. The serial ‘Manjurukum Kaalam’ is based on a novel published in the same name in leading Malayalam weekly, Manorama. Manjurukum Kaalam takes the viewers through the life of an adopted girl child, Janikutty. The story revolves around her struggles of being an innocent adopted child.
Plot of Manjurukum Kaalam :
Janikutty, daughter of Manakkal Govindankutty lost her mother Aswathy on child birth. After the death of Govindankutty’s mother, he hands over her daugher Malootty to Vijayaraghavan, a distant relative and his wife Ratnamma. She is pampered by Vijayaraghavan and Ratnamma. Janikkutty’s new found love and happiness vanishes when her step mother Ratnamma becomes blessed with her own baby. Soon Janikutty becomes a burden to Ratnamma who ignores her and wants her out of their 'now perfect' life. The little tot goes through a life of suffering and hardships. Despite all her hardships she fights back and become a strong personality in society.

ഈ മനോജേട്ടന്റെ ഇതുപോലെ നല്ല കഥാപാത്രമുള്ള character പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്നു 🌹🌹🌹
അഹങ്കാരി. ഒരു പാവം കുഞ്ഞിനെ ചോദിച്ചു വാങ്ങിയിട്ട് അതിനെ എന്തുമാത്രം അവൾ കണ്ണീരു കുടിപ്പിച്ചു. ആ നിഷ്കളങ്ക മനസ്സ് കാണാതെ പോയ അവൾ ഒരു കാലത്തും ഗതിപിടിക്കില്ല. ഗോവിന്ദൻ കുട്ടി അവളെ ചവിട്ടിയത് നന്നായി. മിച്ചമുള്ളത് അവളുടെ അമ്മ എന്ന് പറയുന്ന നാണം കെട്ട കിളവിക്കും കൂടി കൊടുക്കണമായിരുന്നു. എന്തായാലും ആ കിളവി അനുഭവിക്കുമല്ലോ. എന്തായാലും ഗോവിന്ദൻ കുട്ടി ആ തള്ളയെ കൂടി ചവിട്ടുന്ന സ്സീനും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ അടിപൊളി ആയേനെ. അവർക്കിട്ട് രണ്ടെണ്ണം കിട്ടുന്നത് കാണുമ്പോൾ മനസ്സിന് ഒരു സുഖവും കിട്ടിയേനെ
