isnt counterstrafing like a 10ms difference in deceleration on valorant compared to just releasing movement keys? although could have a bigger impact on controller since your forcing the stick back to deadzone faster. good stuff though!
You're not wrong, at a low level I don't think there will be much difference, but once you get into the Diamond+ area I think you'll fall behind if you don't. Appreciate it man
Bruh! Ive been playing this game for a week and really enjoying it. Im steady getting better by playing and watching tip videos. Ive seen videos from channels with 250k to over 1m subs and some really helpful stuff from high level players but as far as a beginner tip video this is easily the best ive seen. You put things simple and dont drone on about a bunch of different things. You are on the money with all your points because it was all stuff i experienced first hand and had to learn. Great video and i will be recommending this video to any people looking to improve. Thanks.
Look at hcpeful using focus. He uses it to look around fast so its on 20 and is base sens is slow so he can micro flicks and has good aim in general. (he has walk in focus off for that)
Very backwards in my opinion, the only logical reason I see to do that is allow you to walk easier but there's a default, unbound button bind to push to walk, which gives you way more freedom to do what you want with your aim
Generally counterstrafing "front to back" is VERY awkward, generally you just dont ever want to be caught walking towards or away from an enemy or you're not wrong, it's hard to adjust

I mean not every gun no, but the headshot multiplayer in this game generally is 300-400% unlike most games so headshots regardless what gun you're using are important (except shotguns, aiming for body is actually better)

I think everybody will be different when it comes to focus mode thing. For me I use it a lot. My reaction time is fast enough to where I can unfocus line up and then focus again and shoot.

A: Riots done an infinitely better job B: It's the ONLY console game that's actively working against physical cheating devices like a xim that has taken over the top level of every console FPS C: Every other console FPSs game devs are lazy and money hungry which is very obvious and while Riot does charge a lot for skins you can play the game completely for free and it's taken care of better than 99% of other games in the space. So there's a lot of reasons imo
I primarily sit in the focus mode because i do not like how much of the sensitivity reduction is applied in the hipfire aim assist i feel a lot more comfortable flicking and micro adjusting in that mode. Im hoping they give us options for aim assist windows and strength like overwatch. I also think a play test with no aim assist like siege would be nice to see
Hey a quick tip focus mode actually has a very high aim assist hip fire lower your sensitivity when aiming at an enemy while focus adjust your aim to actually aim at the enemy for you depending on how far your crosshair from the enemy I suggest you start using it thank me later😂😂😂😂

Can it be that Ranked on Console doesnt function properly ? Because i played recently for the first time Valorant and got Ranked Diamond 1. But friends told me that on PC its way harder to get there. So am i just good on Console overall because every opponent technically uses the same Console and Controller, or is it just generally more easy to get higher ranked on console at the moment ?
Diamond was also exponentially easier to get 4 years ago then it was now on PC, Valorant console is essentially a brand new game to the majority of people playing it. Skill levels will take time to reach the same on PC but I think it will happen quickly given there's so much out there to improve already

@@ALBwesam I play both too, I have been playing since closed beta and it’s been confirmed by many others, counter strafing doesn’t do anything. In CS it does because of the way the movement works, but you don’t need to in Valorant. It’s just adding extra input for no reason.
From what Ive tested on controller you do seem to roll out of your movements more, similar to CS, because your joystick takes time recenter instead of just releasing a key like PC. Generally I agree for PC, not for console

It’s a bad habit to get for console. When I stopped useing ads and focus I started to drop three times as much kills as I was.
I believe what they came out with is gonna be pretty much what we see in the final game but I dont disagree, would be interesting
