This is the one hundred and thirty ninth of the remastered Lorcan Film Unit Videos. There is a total of 10 hours worth of film that we hope to publish over time. Unfortunately Leslie Crowe who was the Director and creator of much of this content is no longer with us. So we are hoping to get your help to figure out the places and the names of the people he captured.

Gavin Low cattle and sheep market on the North Circular Road., across from Ellesmere Avenue. This closed in the early 70s. I remember the cow shite everywhere and the drovers herding the cattle down Grangegorman towards the docks.

I think it's the one at the North Circular Road going by the houses in the background and the Prussia Street sign at 1:14. It took up the whole block bounded by Prussia St, Aughrim St and Joseph's Road.
