2:42 iirc power cells are the exception... but you have battery chargers so it affects nothing long term.
11:00 how far it got you ... ~192 -> ~25: around 170 +/- however far your movement affected it, which is a bit over my 150m approximation from my experience in subnautica. wiki said it averages 20.52 m/s on tests run at 50m (so not max depth -> slow start could lower the average), and it went from ~11:01-11:09 so lasted ~8s (could be 7.5 as half of the 15s of air it can alternatively give you). wiki says that fins average 4.16 m/s, so depending on how much you were swimming with that it could have been like (20m/s*7.5s=150m) + (4m/s*7.5s=30m) = 180m, -10m for not fully swimming straight up -> ~170m ... falls apart if swimming is only allowed/done sideways while ascending.

in regular subnautica, i decided to scan a reaper (near aurora entrance) without stasis rifle. the most annoying part (other than needing a large stack of med-packs of which i used 8-10 due to needing 2 per bite) was how it would just swim away after a bite, but fortunately the scanner didn't lose info on it though.

Wow. You spend some time doing math. Great job! That isn’t always fun for people.
Ya, I think I’ll hold off on the scanning of the big guys for now. That does not sound like fun risks to me
That does remind me though, guess I should make a med pack fabricator

@ that do be why i'm going for math adjacent degrees with physics and computer science
fair, especially because BZ lacks stasis rifle
      probably
