Bravo Sarah! Such a beautiful and brilliant perfection. If I hadn't witness your talent on your twitch streams, I wouldn't believe that this is improvisation. You know it is getting heavy and crazy when she's wearing her yellow hoodie :D 10 out of 10 stars Looking forward to your concert in Feb. :)
Improv....music being channeled from a higher power. This is A+++ I could barely play Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star on my toy xylophone when I was a kid. Haven't progressed beyond that.
I thought I heard many Arabian music style phrases repeat-was this intentional? Using your left hand for the low pitches to increase the drama was an interesting choice. Moving between a few middle or higher chords keeps a sense of variation without being overwhelmed by the lower tones. When you were playing this, what were you feeling and hoping to convey? When I sing, it always follows how I have been feeling so far that day.
I thought I heard a patronizing tone repeating in your comment - was this intentional? Giving an accomplished player playing advice - on an improv- is an interesting choice. Moving between a teacher-like tone and a few odd questions will keep people guessing about your intentions while you flex. When you were writing this, what were you feeling and hoping to convey? When I comment on TH-cam, it's usually to remind people there's a human on the other side of the screen.

This reminds of Diamanda Galas’s The Singer album minus the singing. Very evocative in the darkness from the piano and the complex improvisation.
Thank you for this moment
