Nice addition to the Husqvarna! I think you do a great job with the camera placement. I tried to make a video, just for my viewing, of a particular woodworking technique. I couldn't believe how difficult it was getting the right camera angles. That experience made me really appreciate the work that goes into making a good instructional video. Thanks Hester for another interesting, and funny vid!

I tell you what, the more effort I started putting into camera angles and lighting, the harder filming became, and the longer it took to make a video 😂

Nice one, JD, except for one important detail. I could be all wrong on this, but my OCD is screaming at me to bring it up. All those nuts on the INSIDE of the mulching kit are going to be nothing but a PITA for cleaning underneath, painting (or oiling in my case) and working against the free flow of grass clippings inside. I would have turned every one of those carriage bolts around and done whatever was necessary to end up with the domed heads on the INSIDE. This may mean cutting some bolts shorter, tightening some one nut flat at a time if the space was too tight for a ratcheting wrench - whatever. I’d make it work so in the end the result was a much smoother inside surface, especially since this will probably be a permanent installation.
One tip - if you use magnets to hold difficult parts together the installation will go a lot easier.

I’m glad you brought this up because I wish I addressed it in the video. This did cross my mind when installing the bolts, however, only the deck side has the square cutouts for the carriage bolts to lock into. When I tried putting them the other way, they didn’t have enough tooth to stop from spinning. So at that point, my options were to use a regular bolt which would stick out almost the same amount as the nuts would or just use what came with the kit. Rest assured my OCD was also screaming lol

There is no seal on the bottom, the oil would just leak out
