    Love your dog....remember if the dog senses something and stops won't go forward, that usually means what's ahead isn't friendly. Stay safe my friend.

    Very interesting indeed. I live up North of ya near OSO, WA just down from the landslide area. I have seen and heard many strange goings on as well as really bad stench's near the edge of the river. Be safe.

    why don't you have a drone in your hand ready to go and the second you hear a sound, start it and fly up and around in the direction of the sound? you'll catch way more ground that way.

      Thank you, Angela! Every now and then, there is a funky smell around the swamp, but I have never noticed any odors that I could say were from the bigfoots. I think the odor, that is sometimes reported, is probably stress related. Although, I have heard that the females have a cinnamon type of odor. :)

    Smart Ladies!! I've heard another story about a man who was sitting outside his camper smoking a pipe with sweet tobacco. And there was alot of activity around his camper that night, and knocking and noise broken trees, etc. They seemed to love the sweet tobacco aroma of a woody fire. I was thinking food would really excite them - even bbq meat! :)

    Food ideas, have you ever left carrots, onions or potatoes ? Just a thought . Probably be cheaper than pies and peanut butter all the time. Keep up the good work & I'll keep watching .

    Thank you so much. I always look forward to watching when I see an alert that you have posted again. I would definitely think they were saying...........where's the peanut butter???? Here is a clue :) What I was wondering is whether it is your opinion that these forest people seem to prefer cool temperate to snowy climates? Even in Australia they seem to like the mountainous, cooler climates. Just wondering what your thoughts were on this?

    • @Barbshupe1964
      @Barbshupe1964  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You are very welcome, Fliss! I think they would enjoy pleasant weather as much as we do. But, I don't think temperature is why they live at high elevations. I think that thick woods, water and a steady food source are more likely to influence where they live. Whether it's up high in the mountains, along coastal beaches, or anywhere in between. :)

    Hard to make people believe, but it is equally as hard to make people believe it when they hear EVP's that we captured on a Sony voice recorder and SB7 Spirit Box. Only people there was my son, my wife and I. No way to explain voices answering questions that we asked, especially right when I was asking a question above the grave of a child that died in a car accident. "Help me..." came over twice.

  • @selfstarter6312

    Why not leave something very tasty in a large container that takes more brute strength than a human has to open it, and more coordination than a bear has. See what you find and what angry sounds you record with a recorder that turns on only when there is sound ("voice-activated"). Easy, easy. There are paternity test kits sold at drugstores, and you can perform a free public service by sending "your" cheek swab DNA to a vast databank. If you have a jar that has been licked clean, you can make a cheek swab from the dry saliva by adding a tiny bit of water to the swab and swabbing the inside of the jar. In either case, you would hear back "WTF kind of joke is this?!" form the testing lab. If they knew it wasn't human but it was oddly close, they would be freaked out. You CAN get this solid evidence if you're willing to risk that it's an intelligent bear. I have a very smart dog that can open ANY jar with her mouth and very few to no bite marks. The jar isn't licked clean past the halfway mark only because her snout isn't that long....but I have found several jars over the years where I dropped a bag of groceries and was too tired to put them away. She could also (in her prime) leap straight up 3.5 ft to a shelf and remove a small box without disturbing anything else or falling into the toilet next to that shelf. I think Sasquatch exists, but do something more if you really want to know or convince others. P.S. One of you has a very bad smoker's cough and desperately needs to quit smoking NOW. Otherwise, there is, at a minimum, an oxygen tank in your future....and that would be a terrible shame. It would limit your trips to the great outdoors.

    • @selfstarter6312
      @selfstarter6312 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      P.S. She is a 20 lb Jack Russell terrier and was very athletic, too....but 3.5 feet is a long way for her!

    I wonder if it would make a difference, whether Sasquatch have a preference, between organic treats, say, organic apples versus "whatever" apples, the cheapest one could find in the store, or obviously GMO food type treats. My understanding is that GMO food has absolutely no life force energy, have as much food value as eating cardboard, whereas organic food has actual life force energy in it.

    Barb, I am just guessing here. But, if Gabby gets "nervous and watchful" as you call it. Don't you think you should be thinking of your protection as well? I am not sure I have ever asked this, but do you carry bear mace? Handgun or anything for your personal protection? I am not in anyway a bigfoot researcher. I do spend a lot of time in the woods. And w/black and brown bear being on my island in S.E. Alaska. I always take some sort of protection in the woods w/me. I know what the odds are. However, everyone once in a while someone hits the lottery and gets mauled by a bear. We walk our lab mix almost everyday on logging roads. Every once in a while she will come running out of the woods w/her hackles up, and growling at what ever she just thinks she escaped from. This can put a person on edge just a little bit. Okay, here is my point. I do watch a lot of videos. And some of the people who are also bigfoot researchers, think that rock throwing, tree knocking and screaming is a way of trying to say, "This my area! Get out! And, also the X's are a "Don't trespass"! sign. In other words, they (Sasquatch) may not be as gentle and a lot of people think. Please don't misunderstand I enjoy your video's. They are a "hoot" to watch, and I hope that you and Gabby, as well as the rest of your gang get real and compelling evidence. I also, hope no one gets hurt in the process. Good luck. Stay safe. Regards, Ralph

      What really got me into Bigfooting was a video that was uploaded in 2012 where this couple and their two dogs were stuck in the middle of a forest in California With a broken down truck, I forget the name but they were in the middle of nowhere and from 10 to 12 midnight they were hearing None stop vocalizations of bigfoot or supposed bigfoot and it was really awesome and weird because they sounded humanlike but not human

    You do know that they would rather you not be there. They always travel in 3 or 4 males at a time.
    When I lived in Oregon my best friends family had a home very deep in the forest and the house had a old ranger station tower and they had animals , goats, chickens and a cow.
    A very large male killed the goats and chickens and went after the dogs at cows. They often can be aggressive. Some of the large males don't want gifts ! They want you gone.
    I've had close calls and damage toy car from these guys. Just watch yourself.

    Apparently, a good way to deter the sasquatch is to play crappy pop music, very loud (eg. The Spice Girls, Take That, Bieber, Cyrus, Perry or any of those crappy 1980s hair spray rock bands). It usually works, but (unless you want to attract them) it is best to avoid classical, folk and blues as they have a penchant for that type of music.

BUT LADY PLEASE TRY TO KEEP IN MIND THAT YOU ARE TAKING A VIDEO THAT YOU WANT OTHERS TO WATCH. WALKING WITH THE CAMERA BOUNCING AROUND EVERYWHERE, CONSTANTLY SPIN THE CAMERA SIDE TO SIDE DOES NOT HELP US SEE ANYTHING, ITS FRUSTRATING AND INFURIATING WHEN YOU DO SPOT ONE CLOAKING BUT YOUR CAMERA SKILLS SEEM TO FALL BY THE WAY SIDE. TAKE A FEW STEPS, STOP, WAIT ABOUT 7 SECONDS, PAN AROUND, TAKE ANOTHER FEW STEPS, STOP.

    I don't think they will like that cow bell one bit or that candle either. I don't mean to be rude, but why do you leave them useless items you know they can't use or eat? I'm curious to your reasoning behind that. How long do you leave an item out before you replace it with something new? One researcher says his tree chimes still hang in the tree 4 years after he put it there. There are just some things that don't appeal to them, so why gift them?

    FYI - I have a Gopro camera which I take on my my bike rides. It has a mode where you can have it take a photo at various intervals up to 1 minute. Very simple, only has two buttons. Depending on your memory card and battery pack life, it could take photos for several days. The camera itself is only 2" x 1.5" x 0.75" so could be hidden in just about anything and only the lens need to be exposed and that is only 0.5" in diameter in size. Someone with woodworking skills could even hollow out a section of a log that it could be put into. Or something like a bird house that could be nailed to tree and locked shut. Has wide field of view so could be put 10+' away from the gifting area.

    I saw & heard a sasquatch - both a vocal call & other noises - 2 days ago while camping in San Jacinto at the Msrion Mountain campground. I am not a "bigfoot" hunter/aficionado/seeker, although I have always believed that they exist. Further, I had no knowledge of the sounds, calls & behavior exhibited, until I Googled it today, then searched sasquatch/bigfoot recordings on TH-cam. Interestingly, not only did I see him/her & hear a call around dusk, but as I was returning to the tent after a 2am trip to the nasty pit toilets to tinkle, I heard several sounds which resembled sticks & rocks banging together (another behavior I knew nothing about until a few minutes ago).
    For whatever reason, he/she seemed to be specifically interested in me. I wonder if it's because I'm known as a sort of Dr. Doolittle to my friends & family; animals & even insects seem to respond to me in unusually favorable ways. For instance, when there's a fly in the house, I talk to it for awhile, explaining that they're safe with me & that I'll gladly take them outside (but that the other people & animals aren't safe). They will almost always land on my outstretched hand/arm & allow me to give them a ride out the door. The same happens with ants, except that they generally leave on their own, rather than me escorting them. Nobody believes it, until they see it with their own eyes. I also refuse to kill an insect under any circumstances (even the ones I'm afraid of). I wonder if he/she sensed that about me? In any case, I feel fortunate to have had that experience!

    You ladies need to be so much more careful than you are. I don't think you understand that you should have a side arm and bear mace at LEAST! Juvenile males are driven by their hormones at a very early age and would think nothing of attacking a lone female. Please be smart and don't go out alone anymore. What if u run into a bear or big cat if nothing else? And if Gabby ever refused to move further or tried to turn back, please take her advice and follow her. She knows when they are around. Dogs are aware of their presence always. I enjoy your videos but I worry for you all.

    I want to believe, not being super skeptical, want to believe, but why not bring bloodhound in these areas and see what they can find. All these foot prints and so on, bring in some hounds. Professional dogs who are trained to find stuff. Several teams of them, why so hard to do? That way we can have a better chance of getting to the bottom of this. I want to know. I believe, or want to believe, but just seems no one is really trying to make this definitive. Too serious of an issue to have people putting peeanutbutter and candy out to get evidence. Nothing against theses peoples efforts, just saying let's step up our game some. If there were escaped convicts running loose, would we put candy out to find them lol. I just want to know, the world wants to know, if these beings exscist. I live in West Virginia and understand how something could be in these mountains and go undetected and this is just little West Virginia. The truth will come out one day, let's just be a little smarter helping it come to pass.

    Hi i like to plant fruit trees and food plants when i go in the woods but not just for bigfoot but food plots for all the creatures pecans and pawpaw trees chestnut and hazelnuts, service berries and mulberries, burdock and open minded to wild plants and foods like wild raspberries that grow wild in the mountains plums peaches and apples and believe it or not stinging nettle is very nutritious now these bigfoot people are smarter than what people give them credit for maybe even smarter than us! Draw pictures and leave pencils and paper also fruit juice and grapes, honey, bread,cheese ,strawberry preserves . Of you leave bananas or oranges they need to be peeled...leave photos of you and your dog and perhaps a book of different animals around the world... you might be surprised mabe a childs toy that you point the arrow to and pull the string and it makes the sound of that animals...another words don't just treat them as just some dumb Ape! There not! Good luck!

    I just measured the space between my canine teeth , and I come up with about 2" on center. The teeth patterns u show, look to be 3." on center or more ! Space between canines can give u approx size of jaw, and therefore skull size, and therefore
    height / size of this creature . Im certain that gorillas have a more rounded upper jaw, which would make the canines farther apart. Ours is more narrow. U might research those ratios further. I think that is some real good evidence! I dont think its a bear.

    • @CaliforniaPickin
      @CaliforniaPickin 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm 5'-10" tall. I think our creature would be at least one foot taller than me, Min, to have a space that big. I think we got us a 7 ft or taller creature out there in your neck of the woods.
