The USB drive was formatted in FAT32 and the tv is not recognizing it. Have tried using VLC app. Ensured permissions were granted. Still can't get tv to recognize the usb stick. Another tv does recognize it but won't play the mp4. However that tv is very basic. Trying to get it to play on a tv that should play it.
Hey, I got one of them little deals plug into your iPhone and you put up what is the HLMD cord with it it plugs in the back of your TV where you can play videos off your phone into the TV but it’s not playing what do I need to do?

I have a panasonic smart tv the only usb drives it recognises are the usb pen drives i have films on laptop hardrives in enclosures fat32 formatted no such luck panasonic tv wont recognise them okay in the bedroom i have an alba tv/dvd combi with usb the same usb enclosure laptop harddrives work fine so it goes to show you a cheaper branded tv can be better than an expensive one 🙄

Mine works but not all videos appear , i have 9 only 4 of them are shown . Whats the problem? They're all the same file type
If it is FAT32 OR exFAT32 and if the files are more than 4gb it will not show try NTFS
