How can I have missed that voice during all these years !!! Such an underrated and unmediatized artist !
In Munich, she is not underrated, I saw her in several roles at Bavarian State Opera and she was wonderful each time. Once I met her at the stage door after the show. She is such a friendly person!
She's marvelous. Great in Verdi too. Saw her as Elisabetta in Don Carlo.
The soprano's voice is very well suited to this and, to my ear at least, it seems like the right vocal quality and tone for this work. I really like the way the singer uses light and shade, and really gives us a full range of colours. From 01:51 leading up to 02:14 is exquisite.
What a voice of velvet! Wonderful! And a touching interpretation, she is an ideal cast!

This brings back wonderful memories of when I was soprano soloist for the entire works of Elijah...back in the day! But...this is the first time I ever heard He ye, Israel sung in German! Brava!!

Pero, pero, lo que vos hacés cantando aquí es de una unción, clase, calidad, belleza y sobre todo entrega superlativa.
