In Delray Beach they moved 7 house’s and rebuilt them. Boca Raton being 1 of the wealthiest cities should step up and do what’s right. This is sad. 😢

Place the house on the National or Local Registry , historic architecture are markers in time, they tell stories that volumes of books can never convert. Preserve and Promote the real American stories of perseverance, success, pain and joy.

Should go on the church grounds if they are willing to take it and why not if it's done no cost for them. Could make a small museum/gift shop about black history and black churches in the area. why not do a kickstarter campaign online? Promote it.

I’d be pissed if I owned that dilapidated shack and the rest of the community (from their newer homes) wouldn’t let me tear it down and make something better.

Why can't the city BUY IT, and put it back together as historical building? She's absolutely right, this house is important. STOP ERASING HISTORY! It should stay where it is.

Should have planned better… saved money and realized that in the future the house would need about $100,000 in renovations. Where are her kids and family members?

Planning and saving sometimes doesn’t work out, sometimes health conditions take a huge part in people not having savings. It’s just sad.

be more accurate built in 1921 that means it is nearly one hundred and two years old , not all numbers end in zero and five that is not how maths work or the number sequence , hope they save it and when are black Americans going to stop saying blacks in America say Black Americans because it does not apply to all of us

Ha ha ha. Nobody’s moving that house. That would cost five times when it’s worth. This is Boca Raton old houses safe. Every old house is being torn down and replaced with a McMansion. Any other community, they could save the house. Especially Delray or West Palm Beach. Boca Raton? Lol. Not going to happen.

The house looks like any broken down house in a black neighborhood. There is nothing special about its architecture or its legacy. Why would you want to be reminded of a time that is so horrific when you can live in today when things havent improved much... especially in boca...
