Mirage is like a swiss army knife...
He allows crafting of banners in case of a big fail
He has a very good revive especially with the 75 health regen
He provides info with his decoys on enemy positions
He provides a lot of distractions with his ult and skill to drown out movement as a whole in close quarters allowing for sneaky plays
His only lacking trait would HONESTLY be mobility. As long as your team makes up for that one flaw, he is never a terrible pick to me.
All of his upgrades are also good choices overall. Unlike many legends, picking the right one is difficult lol
