I was born 1990 and now I am 33. I started to love Nora and her songs since I was 10 years old as I heard her voice for the very first time from our neighbor's radio. Then I started being obsessed with her voice; saving my allowances just to afford buying her cassette tapes and CDs and playing it every day and night into our radio. I remember her tapes and Cds are not available at record stores here, then I go to radio stations just to record few of her songs available there paying ten pesos per song. I am lucky now because I have all her songs stored in my smart phone and playing it most of the time. I think I am the youngest male Noranian of this generation.
When she emotes her character it is not only the lines that you listen too but rather the deepness of the emotion that you really have to pay attention to especially in her eyes. Subtle but enough for her to make her point and come across so well that will keep you transfixed through the end of what you are viewing.. This is one of the keys why the movies she performs can easily be considered as CLASSICS.

I remember seeing a part of it only back then. Nestor Torre cited Nora for her performance here ... Galing talaga n this was b4 himala. May isa pang episode na maganda Sa ang makulay na daigdig Ni Nora .. kasama niya Rin Si Tommy Abuel .. Yung adaptation Ng My Fair Lady. Salamat Sa upload. Can't wait to see her Balintataw appearance. I have just finished watching this episode. Talagang Tatak Bernal! Very Cerebral ang approach, nasa dialogue lang nakikita ang conflict/tension between Nora and Tommy. The background story of the friction between the lowlanders and the ethnic leader mirrors the relationship of the 2 main characters. This same approach will be used again by Bernal in his "Bakit May Pag-ibig Pa?" , starring Nora and Christopher. Kudos to Ate Guy for taking the risk of producing something which is not a usual fare for TV dramas. Once again, she has proven herself to be ahead of her times.
I used to watch weekly Superstar and Makulay when I was in grade school until both shows ended. Ate Guy at a very young age produced relevant teleplays and movies. Yung casting panay stage actor yung Script Writer naging director at naging National Artist pareho ang Director na Ishmael Bernal at ang artista na Nora Aunor.

Madami ako naaalalang mga episodes ng Makulay.... pero parang hindi ko yata napanood ang isang ito na sobrang kakaiba ang istorya. Early 70's "Nora Sinderela" pa ang title ng drama anthology na ito hanggang sa naging "Ang Makulay na Daigdig ni Nora" hanggang 1979 if i'm not mistaken.
