Hey, man! Make the most effort you can not to drink. It's going to do wonders for you. I still drink socially twice a year I would say, but I completely lost the urge to drink alcohol a long time ago and a lot of that came from me forcing myself not to drink for extended periods of time until my body got used to not using it. I know there's more to that than just will alone, but I once heard one of the most toxic TH-camrs out there [ Jeremy from Geeks and Gamers ] make a remark along the lines of ' Why would I purposely put something in my system that impairs my judgement? ' and - again - even though I stopped consuming his toxic content that remark made all the sense in the world to me. It's something I've taken to heart since then. Some people are more pushed by words, others by feelings, others need more espcialized help and that's totally fine, but whatever your case may be, please, continue fighting against it. Sure, it's important to not lose control. There have been many times where I just had a few beers or 2 or 3 whiskies and I was ok but lately I'm losing control and end up overdrinking.
