There is a striking similarity between Indian South African and Guyanese traditions. People of the diaspora need to share their beautiful cultural similarity.
I'm from Mauritius Island in the Indian ocean. Our Great Grand Parents came from India to Mauritius in the 1800.. We find out that Mauritians are mostly from Bihar state. I'm fascinated by the fact that we've so much similarities and things in common. We have also adopted the island culture mixed with Indian culture. Great!
In Hinduism, there is no divorce. Marriage is for 7 birth and rebirth. Therefore no worry for this life. These are soulmate. Nobody can separate the couple in Hinduism till they are alive
