What I like about the 1994 version when Simba understands Scar murdered Mufasa is that Simba remembers his pouncing lesson from this father and pounces on Scar.
@@ominousvonte that's cause how do you pounce while hanging off a cliff. So I can see logically why it was changed to him biting scar. It was to make it more realistic. But however the animation is leagues better. But that's cause animals expressions are hard to do while keeping it looking natural.
My biggest issue with this scene, aside from the lack of drama in the animation, is Simba's reaction to the confession, it's way too composed. I mean, he's way too composed throughout, but the confession is really egregious. It sounds way too rehearsed, too controlled. In the original, he reacts with the level of shock, rage, and immediate aggression we expect in his voice. In the remake, it sounds more like he found out a day ago and had thought out what to say when confronting him.
@@StoogesFan True, no one asked for it. But it could have been interesting. But no one with seemingly any passion to truly do the original justice was in charge of decision making. It is accurate to say that this film really was a tech demo
I mean Simba had already forgotten about Mufasa, already spoke to Mufasa days ago and reacted as he should for the verdict he would later give Scar... I mean what's the use if he was later gonna say "Run and never look back"
@Caio Da Silva Barreto but the new version JUST wants the style, its ONLY purpose is to look "realistic" and cool and literally absolutely nothing else
It’s crazy how they managed to downgrade every. Single. Aspect. Of the remake. Let’s talk about the original first: the music is extremely powerful. The way the strings staccato at the beginning to emphasize tension REALLY sells the moment. Simba’s dread, and Scar turning the tides with his usual manipulation to sway the lionesses against him. The music is half the battle in his scene. Everything about it is so potent and meaningful; every note, every trill pushes the scene forward. Every character’s expression contributes. There is an OVERFLOW of emotion. And when Simba admits, its all he can even muster to say “I did”... he can’t manage anything else. And this is powerful. Sarabi’s look of despondency as she pleads with her son; begs him to tell her it isn’t true. And we hear that classic Lion King theme; that ridiculously emotional, complex melody. The music is quiet here to emphasize Simba’s lamentation and further acceptance, and it does so brilliantly. And when Scar says “he admits it! Murderer!” The way the music suddenly booms into the foreground followed by that riveting crash of lightning gives me goosebumps every time. It’s simple and so effective. The way Scar circles Simba, berating him all while Simba can’t even defend himself, because he’s convinced his uncle is right. And one thing I especially despise about the remake is the exclusion of the pivotal line “oh, Simba. You’re in trouble again. But this time, daddy isn’t here to save you. And now everyone knows why!” It’s really good writing. The way Scar words this is so demeaning, and it mocks the fact that they’re actually family. ”you’re in trouble again” reminding us of the mistakes Simba made as a kid that supposedly led to his father’s death. And the TIMING. Everything is timed so purposefully, and the cadence and delivery swells with the music as Simba is pushed off the edge of Pride Rock. And then we get that brilliant confession from Scar, and I can’t stress enough how good Jeremy Irons is at making every word leak malice. After his confession, the chilling off-chord that plays as we are flashed back to Mufasa’s death (the visual of him falling into the stampede is so well executed in this version) really rings home this feeling of horror and realization. And the way Simba is then invigorated to LEAP up from the cliff and onto Scar. Not just nibbling his neck fluff, LEAPING up and out of his clutches only to pin him down and gain the upper hand. It’s perfect. All of it is perfect. And then there’s the remake. The first thing I notice is the lazy blocking. Why would Scar lay down at the beginning as he’s talking to Simba? Was there really nothing else they could think of to emphasize nonchalance? The completely BLANK expressions of the characters doesn’t help. The lionesses (who in the original look terrified and uncertain) look like they’re watching a cat toy. It’s awful. And I really hate to knock an actor, but the guy playing Simba is not doing him any favors either. His delivery is bizarre and he’s putting the emphasis in all the wrong places. The way he says “it was me” or whatever (I say whatever because it’s already not as memorable) followed by that weird-ass “I’m sorry” to Sarabi? Why even add that? Why would he say “I’m sorry”? I’m not saying the apologetic sentiment is out of place, but Simba’s body language and what he said in the original already fully conveyed the feeling of remorse and that he felt sorry. So this addition kinda cheapens it. It just feels off. And of course when Scar says yada yada “he admits it! Wakwkaksa!” there’s NO lightning strike because John Favreau doesn’t think adding drama to a fictional movie about talking lions is realistic. Thanks John. Instead we get bland boring lighting over bland boring lions and SOMEHOW even Zimmer’s chilling score is downgraded. Whether it’s the instruments themselves or the composition, the emotion feels watered down. It’s lessened. Just like the rest of the scene. There’s some new dialogue from Scar during this scene that isn’t completely bad, but at the same time... it’s kind of superfluous. It’s things that don’t really add anything to the scene and are just there to make it feel different. They don’t serve any purpose. And for god’s sake that stupid flash back to hilariously blocked Mufasa falling off the cliff completely saps the tension. It’s literally funny. Simba’s stupid little chipmunk scream is comical. In the original the complete DESPAIR in Simba’s voice destroys me. The delivery is amazing. And so is Mufasa’s terrible scream. But in the new version it’s like “aaaaaaaahhh.....” and Simba’s like “nOOOEE” And it just sucks. It all sucks. The remake sucks. And the original is a masterpiece. Edit: bass-boosting Chiwetel’s voice was an extremely lame choice and it’s super obvious eww- why didn’t they just get Jeremy Irons back? The man literally sounds the same. They brought back wholesome geezer James Earl Jones but wouldn’t bring back arguably the most iconic voice in the movie? Ew Disney. Ew. The scene is so forced omg I can’t believe how bad it is. Why is everyone’s delivery so weird? They don’t even talk like real people. Simba has ZERO emotion in this scene and in the original the emotions are literally through the roof. 1994 Lion King is one of the most emotion-heavy movies I’ve ever seen, yet this shallow remake manages to be one of the most EMOTIONLESS movies I’ve ever seen, how did they even manage that? They managed it by not caring. It was an easy billion for them. That’s all they wanted. To bank on peoples’ nostalgia and fill their own pockets. That’s what Disney is now.
Literally all of this. Thank you. But one point I'd like to elaborate is how stupid Simba's "I'm sorry" sounds. Why does he sound so nonchalant? I've heard actual children apologize with more emotion and sincerity for just breaking dishes, meanwhile Simba is supposed to be apologizing for *the death of his own father* but instead he sounds like he's saying sorry for getting a C on a math quiz or something. How did Jon ever look at any of this and think it was acceptable??!!
@@thelemurofmadagascar9183 RIGHT?!?!?!? I am honestly so shocked at the lack of emotion in the voice-acting. Notice how in the original flashback, it's not just Mufasa's death scene copy pasted with a windows movie maker fade transition; Simba remembers it as something so horrible, so traumatic, and it's reflected in the bright red that also fits the palette of the current scene. In the new version, it clashes so badly with what's currently happening, almost as if Mufasa's death was a happier moment for Simba than hanging from a rock is.
@@wilyserpent And the fact that it zooms in on Simba's eye as opposed to out of it really shows it ingrained in his mind even as an adult just as it did when he was a cub. You can't do the with the remake because they messed up the zoom on that one so bad.

My sentiments exactly. This is why I love animated films because you have to really use your vocal muscles to bring forth the performance. The 2019 version is not bad but it's not as awesome as the original 1994 version.
I literally never noticed this until now, but at 1:19 you can see Simba make a “what is he talking about?” face just as Scar starts whispering in his ear. Such attention to detail in expression that’s completely lost in the 2019 remake.
Not only is there emotion in the original but better acting and choreography overall. Ironically it feels more natural and realistic especially with the dialog choices where as the remake, it ends up feeling forced to make up for the lack of emotion. Also that scream mufasa does when he falls in the flash 100% feels like it was taken from the original.
Probably because they usually animate the scenes after they record so they can get the facial expressions to match. Where as the 2019 movie being a bit too realistic makes it impossible for the Lions to exaggerate enough for us to feel the drama.
(I know this isn't the same scene, but close enough ehe) The way Simba reacts to Mufasa's death in 2019 is so funny. He looks like a angry little kitten, and the way it zooms out from him and he is so tiny raging on the cliff made me laugh out loud in the theater (it was just my family, I wouldn't do that in front of other people, I hate when people make a ruckus in the theater) but seriously it looked ridiculous.
That part made me laugh so hard I had to take a deep breath. Then I paused the movie and continued watching after a few months cause I hated it. I pirated it, but I still feel robbed😂
Love the original because the animation is amazing but it shows more emotion, expressions and is like relatable while the live action is like a zoo visit
In the 1994 version, Matthew Broderick uses his slow-to-anger personality as the voice of Adult Simba while Donald Glover throws a hissy fit as the voice of the rightful king of the Pride Lands in the 2019 version.
Honestly I like Matthew Broderick's Adult Simba better than Donald Glover's Adult Simba because Matthew showed real emotion meanwhile Donald just didn't act like he had real emotions.
@@FaraanBabar2616 some scenes were utter shit but some were better than the original so that makes up for it personally I prefer can you feel the love tonight in the more recent version
I would recommend watching the YMS review of the remake, it’ll explain most of why you feel this way about it. It’s only on part 1 right now, but so far it’s explained why every change made was for the worse.
It is funny how many people say that they like the 1994 version more. There are objective reasons why the 1994 is better. They took away everything emotional impactful in the 2019 version. Voice acting is weak, everything is blue, the new music sounds very generic, there are points where the lions look like they are in a 3D environment, there are no expressions at all and there are no characters. I can not believe we live in a world where the 2019 is one of the most successful movies of all time. There is even purpose in the flashback in the 1994 version. While in the 2019 version it is just a slow-mo version of the event. Also the teeth of Mufasa look weird when he falls in the 2019 version.
Holy crap. I didn't realise it after pausing it. When scar put his claws on simbas paws they bleed a bit. Such nice details. I miss these old animated movies..
2019 Scar kinda acts like one of those generic villians added just because they needed an antagonist. He doesn't really stand out and charm the audience like his 1994 counterpart.
I forgot how amazing this scene was in the 1994 version: the score, the lightning strikes, the emotions on the character and Jeremy Irons’s voice performance is absolutely perfect. Probably my favorite voice acting performance ever
jOn was overly excited about star wars, described the scene when the monkey retrieve his staff was his lightsaber. Really show where his head is focuses on.
"Our goal was to make it as real to life as it possibly could be" Well congrats John Favro, you succeed. And it's absoultely horrible because of it. You know what this beautifully animated musical needs? Painfully accurate realism! Paste swilling simpleton.
@@noodles_poodles392 In a way, yes actually. Like it's even more silly to see a photo realistic lion try it's hardest to emote, sing and move like a cartoon than seeing an actual cartoon do it. Though seeing the dinosaur planet thing, I'm honestly convinced this was just a proof of concept to show the technology was possible while casually making 7 figures. Not cause the move itself was any good, but because Lion King is so beloved you'd have to do a theatrical release of a bunch of furries dressed as lions in a fur pile with the Lion King logo slapped on it not to profit well into the billions. And even then it would make money just because the title alone is that damn powerful. For more on this, look into the marketing for Craptain Marvel. Yeah, the 4th wave feminist drivel was there, but it was mostly market as you needed to see it understand what went on to be the most profitable movie in history, Avengers End Game.
The 1994 version: Full of life and emotion, very realistic. The 2019 version: A lifeless husk of the original scene that looks like something out of a budget puppet show
Wow. I've never watched a full scene from the 2019 version until now, and it looks like I was completely correct to avoid it. Disney really demonstrates the principle "just because you can, doesn't mean you should."
The thing I’ve noticed about Scar in the original movie is that he uses the least amount of words to get the most amount of impact when accusing Simba of being a murderer. In the live action, he didn’t need to keep demanding, “Say it!” as he backs Simba down. Maybe for the hyenas, but once would have been enough for Scar if they built up his menacing presence in Be Prepared.
The animation had more PERSONALITY/ CONTINUITY! I love how they BLEND young Simba's NO with the adult Simba - the with a rush of adrenaline jumps on Scar!
Seeing the 2019 live action/cgi version after the 1994 animated classic hurts so much. All the life and personality has been completely sucked dry. People will continue to watch the 1994 animated movie cause it's timeless and anyone can watch it (my nephews love it!), while the 2019 version will fade into obscurity; the only use I could think of it would be to use it in film school as an example on when a remake fails.
the way scar stalks and prances around him whispering thoughts into his head like a muse, the way he verbally trips simba up forcing a half baked confession, the vibrancy and details making it easy to tell which lion is which, a complete masterpiece. Right, the 2019 version, um, very realistic
The Lion King is the first movie I remember seeing in the theaters and having the movie make me _feel_ things, even at 8 years old. It was a defining film experience of my childhood. All these years later and the original animated scene is _still_ giving me chills. Which leads to my question. Who the heck thought that the CGI remake (I refuse to call it live action because it isn't) was a good idea? I feel absolutely nothing at all watching the scene from the remake.
Only thing I like about the remake is how we see Simba get up the ledge. I didn’t really like how in the original Simba magically just finds a footing to propel himself so drastically.
You have a point about that, but its execution lacks the impact like in the original. The way Simba lunges at Scar is full of energy and shows his rage while the remake undercuts it with a quick and weak looking bite.
The new lion king is not realistic..you cannot feel the way that they spoke..sounds like their reading script..compare to 1994 lion king, every that the spoke you can feel their feeiling
Everyone is focusing on one or two lines of dialogue and saying "Oh the 2019 version is great it alters the lines" sure if it was the same and just altered the lines it would be fine, but it doesn't. Notice as Scar accuses him the difference in body language and emphasis on tone and words. Scar circles him in the original, his words stabbing at Simba. In the Live Action "Scar" just shouts at him while laying down then moves towards him. The way Scar pauses and places a claw to his chin in feigned contemplation of trying to remember why the scene is familiar to the dull and lifeless version of "Scar" standing over "Simba" and then just bouncing to claw him. The realization showing in Simba's face is shown through expression and his anger is palpable, compared to the "Rawr I bit you and will now shout at you".
In the original 1994 movie, Simba comes determined to confront Scar, and when Scar accuses Simba of Murder, he respects the punishment looks on lionesses's faces(because obviously, he thought that the lionesses would be disappointed in him by telling them)and is trying to reason the cause of his actions, by saying things like "It was an accident! I'm not a murderer!" In 2019 version, he looks more like a scared little kitty.
2:53 in this part it’s really hard to tell his emotion of being mischievous and looks more like he’s angry which is giving the wrong idea to the audience
1994:Piece of art of love 2019: just because it’s realistic doesn’t mean it books good! Scar doesn’t look like a thing like him then he did in 1994! Neither did Mufasa
When you realize they said 'kill' in old Disney properties, but now we get "I HAVE SOME CHILDREN I NEED TO MAKE INTO *CORPSES!!!!!"* (I love that quote from Bill Cipher by the way)
I like how in the 2019 version Scar gets exposed by Sarabi by asking how he would have known the look in Mufasa’s eyes if he hadn’t gotten to the gorge in time instead of being strangled into admitting it
I've watched both of them, 1994 impacted me way more than the 2019 and I was able to see that one in theaters It's just something about the original that is just so much better
The original had so much more emotion in it, I feel like if they used realistic versions of the original characters instead of straight up realistic lions it would’ve been better
I rlly liked liked '' I can't wait to be king'' for example because it was so colorful, funny and I love the expressions of Zazoo being so done with the cubs. The songs are very good and nostalgic. I really don' t wanna imagine what they did in the life action with that after I have seen this bland shit in such a scene where there needs to be emotion and drama. The 1994 version made me feel stuff and cry every time Mufasa died even after 20 times. The life remake is just nothing imo. Glad i did not watch it
I find the "yOu GuYs ArE mIsSiNg ThE pOiNt" crowd hilarious. The live action remake used the original's existence as a selling point. You can't just handwave the animated version away just because this is a separate movie. They knew what they were doing in the marketing and the filming. It tried to tell the same story, keeping many of the same lines and having similar shots, but that's it.
in the animated version the scene feels better represented plus the shocking music and the way Scar surrounds Simba in circles.. and the line "Simba, you're in trouble again, but this time daddy isn't here to save you" catches me because of how Scar says it... although in live action the new lines are also fine when Scar, to put the lionesses against Simba, begins by saying: should we believe the son who causes the death of a king? A son who abandons his mother? and that also begins to denigrate him saying: you're what? are you the king? pushing him back to the edge of saying that he is nothing..and the way Simba remembers his father's death after Scar confesses the truth in the animated version is much better, because you can feel his pain and anger that his father was taken from him by Scar
The money they had spent on a live action, they could have spent it on another 2D animated movie. 😭 Which they dont make anymore. 3D is the new way to go, but Id LOVE to see a handdrawn animation again... In the style of 101 dalmations for examplehe

Sure I liked that Sarabi got more screen-time but unfortunately she doesn't serve the plot very well and Mufasa, Rafiki, Timon and Pumbaa and Nala already served the plot very well so there was no need of that. Also in the original there's was no need of someone pointing out Scar was liying all this while because after his confession of Mufasa's death it was already enough Simba forcing him to admit the truth to the pride by pinning him down and leaving him terrified for his life.

I hate the pacing of the remake in this scene it's so BAD. "It's true I'm sorry" there's no emotion in this performance. Vs in the original, the lionesses look shocked at learning this lie that Scar stated, that Simba is responsible for Mufasa's death. Then Sarabi faces her son, begging him to tell her that it isn't true, Simba can't even look her in the eyes. "It's true." this is said haltingly like he can't even get the words out. THEN Scar pounces on the moment. In the remake it's just "It's true I'm sorry" there's no moment to breathe, no moment of Sarabi begging her son to tell her he isn't responsible for his father's death it's just ALL. WRONG. I understand the intent of Simba not facing Sarabi, the intent is that he can't face her, but it's more powerful for Sarabi to try and look at her son in the eye while she gets the truth, and he unable to. Scar circling Simba is so much more of an impactful image then Simba just HAPPENING to be forced to the ledge. Scar's whole speech isn't as impactful either. THE ENTIRE POINT OF THE SCENE IS THAT HE IS KILLING SIMBA WITH THE GUILT OF CAUSING HIS FATHER'S DEATH. "Ohhhh Simba, you're in trouble again. Only this time, DADDY isn't here to save you. And now everyone KNOWS. WHY." Bam lightning strike. The editing the pacing, the line delivery, the camerawork it all compliments the moment. Why would Scar hammer home the fact that Simba killed the king he just said this it would be better for Scar to eat at Simba's guilt.

@Kejser Yusuf Genghis Ali Demun Easy there, buddy. That’s not what I meant. I meant that in the newest lion king, you can’t see the fear in his eyes because all of the characters are completely expressionless.
The way remake Simba says "It's true, I'm sorry." makes it sound more like he's confessing to stealing money from his moms purse than accidentally causing someone's death lmao
I will say that I do like the dialogue's build up a bit more in the 2019 version, where the lionnesses realize Scar was lying from what he told Simba before he realizes Scar killed him. Scar tries to brush off his screw up by trying to pretend Simba was theatening him. Though the delivery was better in 1994 with better voice acting, 2019's scar has some moments.
What I like about the 1994 version when Simba understands Scar murdered Mufasa is that Simba remembers his pouncing lesson from this father and pounces on Scar.

I think the red in the flashback in the 1994 version also symbolizes Simba literally seeing red in rage after Scar confesses his little secret
@@wilyserpent And the fact that it zooms in on Simba's eye as opposed to out of it really shows it ingrained in his mind even as an adult just as it did when he was a cub. You can't do the with the remake because they messed up the zoom on that one so bad.

The remake is trying too hard to be a beat-for-beat, line-for-line remake but every line comes across as awkward. Like they could have tried to give it it’s own identity but they weren’t interested in that, they just wanted to scab off nostalgia by making the same film but they somehow did it so much worse.
Because the 1994 version runs circles around the 2019 version every time.

The 2019 version is not bad but it's not as awesome as the original 1994 version.
They just thought, "as long as we use nostalgia we don't even need to try. People wont care".
I literally never noticed this until now, but at 1:19 you can see Simba make a “what is he talking about?” face just as Scar starts whispering in his ear. Such attention to detail in expression that’s completely lost in the 2019 remake.
They did that very well back then, having the characters react to what the other said or did in the moment
I killed mufasa ☠️
Not only is there emotion in the original but better acting and choreography overall. Ironically it feels more natural and realistic especially with the dialog choices where as the remake, it ends up feeling forced to make up for the lack of emotion. Also that scream mufasa does when he falls in the flash 100% feels like it was taken from the original.
Probably because they usually animate the scenes after they record so they can get the facial expressions to match. Where as the 2019 movie being a bit too realistic makes it impossible for the Lions to exaggerate enough for us to feel the drama.
1:16 - Scar lunges at Simba. Swift, sharp, threatening.
3:12 - *bounce*

Though seeing the dinosaur planet thing, I'm honestly convinced this was just a proof of concept to show the technology was possible while casually making 7 figures. It was awful. I would stick to the original!
RIP James Earl Jones, the voice of Mufasa in the Lion King (1994). He was 93. 9-9-24

My favorite part about the 1994 is that you can actually feel Simba's emotions
The agony in Sarabi’s eyes and voice when she thinks that Simba was responsible for Mufasa’s death couldn’t be replicated.
The live action remake used the original's existence as a selling point. You can't just handwave the animated version away just because this is a separate movie. They knew what they were doing in the marketing and the filming. It tried to tell the same story, keeping many of the same lines and having similar shots, but that's it.
Not gonna lie, Scar looks like one badass lion!!!!
in the animated version the scene feels better represented plus the shocking music and the way Scar surrounds Simba in circles.. and the line "Simba, you're in trouble again, but this time daddy isn't here to save you" catches me because of how Scar says it... although in live action the new lines are also fine when Scar, to put the lionesses against Simba, begins by saying: should we believe the son who causes the death of a king? A son who abandons his mother? and that also begins to denigrate him saying: you're what? are you the king? pushing him back to the edge of saying that he is nothing..and the way Simba remembers his father's death after Scar confesses the truth in the animated version is much better, because you can feel his pain and anger that his father was taken from him by Scar

The money they had spent on a live action, they could have spent it on another 2D animated movie. 😭 Which they dont make anymore. 3D is the new way to go, but Id LOVE to see a handdrawn animation again... In the style of 101 dalmations for examplehe
The classic confession is more sinister and 2x better then the stupid remake.

"Where have I seen this before.."
Haha 🤣
1994: Full-powered pounce counter and turned the tables around their positions
2019: Haha! Hair chomp go nyomm
Something I hated about the remake is that i could never tell Simba and Scar apart from each other
Sarabi gets more character development in the new version and she found out that Scar was lying to the pride.
But she's never happy with her family, she's all serious and even an incompetent queen who nearly drove her own pride to starvation just because she refuse to leave her native home and think to the memories of the one she loves instead of the other lives.
@@fuckalldisneyremakesorigin5560Ok so we wants to live in a world where everything sucks or we want to see something good in the things who has sucked a bit
@@fuckalldisneyremakesorigin5560 nice name lol
@@mregggentlepartner1046 sorry but it's so undeniable that if Simba didn't return to reclaim his throne, the pride would have been starved to death. Also what she told Nala is pointless, because Nala didn't learn nothing from those words and did actually the right choice to leave the Pride Rock to find help otherwise would have starve. This Sarabi is stupid, selfish, incompetent and insignificant, she's a terribly written character.
@@fuckalldisneyremakesorigin5560 O k you've right is only that I got sick to people who thinks that everything of new is horrible!!!! In fact found only one of the Fandom that say that present things are worst the
When I was a child, me and my dad would watch Lion king very often because I loved it so much and we were both crying our eyes out. My name is Simon and even today many years later he calls me Simba
Mufasa's dialogue is what got me to enjoy villians and their perspective more, and I was seven years old.
2019 lion king When scar is asking question to cimba he seated and looks like relaxing..😂..unlike the original he is walking around to cimba to pressure him..even the accent of scar more pressure to me, and I think if Im in the cimba's situation I would say "ah no, yes ,no, i mean it was an accident" 😆
I’m pretty sure scar was calm in the 2019 version because he knew Simba was going to say he was the reason for mufasa’s death😂
3:32 cute simba
The story the voices the animation the soundtrack never gets old🦁
“I saw the fear in his eyes”
Bro how can you even tell-💀💀💀
@Kejser Yusuf Genghis Ali Demun Easy there, buddy. That’s not what I meant. I meant that in the newest lion king, you can’t see the fear in his eyes because all of the characters are completely expressionless.
This is a scary and sad flashback that simba had that happened a long time ago but simba still remembers
Sure the 2019 version feels like the crew were watching Game of Thrones backstage but where’s the sass??
It’s not the Lion King without sassy scar!
Take the animated movie, remove the facial expressions, the music and the epic dialogue, increase budget and here we are.
"You're what? Say it!"
"I'm nothing"
"Then BOW TO YOUR KING!"
Say what u want about the remake, that is awesome!
I like how in the 1994 version, Scar is walking everywhere and yet in the 2019, he’s just sitting on his @ss 😂
The way remake Simba says "It's true, I'm sorry." makes it sound more like he's confessing to stealing money from his moms purse than accidentally causing someone's death lmao
Who here after hearing the news 😭😭😭
I like the "Then bow to your King" line.
Otherwise, 1994 was so much better
Maybe but he's saying that when he's about to kill him.
@@fuckalldisneyremakesorigin5560 exactly. To humiliate him one last time before killing
Simba: Scar, you killed my father.
