Haha, I have a sturdy little float like this that doesn't even have windows, but it's nice to see a video like this where you can show people who don't have the super fancy floats how you pack for a bigger show!
Not saying you should change any of your ways or anything but I would not recommend floating her in a rug. I had an incident where my pony (who keep in mind is amazing to float) and I were heading to a lesson. We were about five minutes in to the drive and my little pony was started scooting around the back. We then pull over and check on her and call our friend who runs the riding school and asks if she has a rug on. She did.We were already late because my other pony wouldn’t load, but slow and steady always wins (but also is a dream to float). The lady told us to never float in a rug because if for some reason they stress out, it won’t make them more anxious. I took the rug off and found that she was sweating underneath, keeping in mind that this is a very thin cotton blanket on a 0 degree day. We headed off to the lesson and when we got there and unloaded her, she was no longer sweating, but had bucket loads of dried sweat. She had never done this before and hasn’t done it since but I do understand for long trips for any scrapes they could get cut on. I’m only recommending it and not telling you to change at all! Love you Tal 😘
