Yes! Say it again for the folks in the back! I love your content. Your views on unschooling make me feel so confident in allowing my daughter to blaze her own path. I recently left 3 unschooling Facebook pages because almost every posts was something like: “I feel like I’m failing my kids. My 13 & 15 year olds stay up all night until 6am playing video games and eating only junk food. They never do anything.” Similar post were so common it seemed like trolling. I don’t know how many times I got chastised for being the only man in groups full of homeschool moms for simply saying “unschooling is not unparenting, it is more involved than normal parenting. It is facilitating their journey of education using your intuition, observation and communication to provide them with the necessary tools and experiences they need to find their own answers and understanding”. I know I’m blunt and it’s a sensitive subject, but kids are at stake and it seems like some folks are just like “oh I like this unschooling thing… you essentially just let them go feral” and then complain that they went feral
Thank you for planting the proper seeds.... We unschool but I did tons of studying about it and I agree. I am even more involved because I follow my child and am a part of everything she does because I create the prepared environment. It takes a lot of time and thought to provide what she needs to thrive. I love every minute of it! But I had to LEARN how to do it and it took a lot of research for me personally to really understand the method and actually implement it in real life ❤.

Please share your favorite notebooks or life hack resources for unschooling...for example My daughter was starting to not like piano and then I picked a few of her favorite songs and wrote the notes down and she could pick up the tune and it's completely changed her love for the activity. She is nine and has not been able to read music yet. Another example is that we love listening to podcast or audio shows and while she's listening I usually have her right down the plot or the beginning, middle, and end part. Please share anything you have!
