I like ps3 and ds and gba and genesis all of those have great games and I don't care about pixels but I like to play with games that don't have pixels cuz I don't play it all the time cuz it's bad
Fun fact: the genesis version is supposed to have press start button text on the bottom but can’t appear due to it having the same save file as the sonic team presents logo
It's not that it has the same file, the "sonic team presents" text overwrites the "press start button" text in the games memory causing it to not load in correctly

Here’s a fun fact about me as a Sonic fan. The first ever Sonic game I ever played was the original Sonic the Hedgehog. The JAVA version. It was on my brother’s old flip phone.
It’s because whoever was playing the PS3 port turned on that blur filter from options

I've played the Java version. It was rather recent. A good port actually.
Ditto with Unleashed, man good times, With Java the trick is having a nice dumbphone, i got unlucky to have a 128x128 screen one as a kid and my Sonic game was as crude as you expect, glad you enjoyed yours

@@barreldancer3505 except for fading to and from black doesnt tint the game blue, the music and sound effects can play without interrupting the instruments of the music, the spikes are fixed and now dont ignore invulnerable frames, the speed caps are gone, widescreen support with hud elements shifted to support the touch controls, the title screen has press start, spindash is added, and more smooth special stage. with the "its basically the same" argument, gamecube ps3 and 3ds shouldnt be included.
The Sega Master System and GameGear are some of my favourites. Mostly cause of the musical arrangements and how they changed up certain phrases to make it sound unique
As a kid, I owned a DS with Sonic Classic Collection and NSMB. It was kinda nostalgic because I grew up with Sonic, and I haven’t laid an eye on Sonic 1 in at least a year or so. My dad telling me he used to own a Genesis and also grew up with Sonic made us always talk about him. It makes me sad, knowing I’m never gonna talk to my dad about my favourite blue hedgehog again. Seeing the classic games( not including mania) always almost makes me want to cry. It’s so hard trying to keep up with Sonic sometimes, that it’s such a wild ride…..is what I’d be saying if I had a tragic backstory. I own a Nintendo Switch and I play Sonic 1 everyday lol

Really like it, but there are some ports you missed, like Sega Saturn, Nintendo Switch, Microsoft XBOX, etc. Hopefully, more parts can cover these releases.

@@superidolfan6296 BTW, the comment was meant to be ironic as the port is obviously trash, tho I didn't think they could've done much about it as the GameBoy Advance is essentially a slightly less powerful SNES, which was already technically a less powerful Genesis, so of course it was going to be bad, HOWEVER, knowing this was the case, Sega should've never ported this game to begin with, plus like, they could've still done a slightly better job as it reeks of rushing

I think it's just because it uses mostly square waves for music they just put it in a VERY LOW frequency to make it do the buzzer sound.

Oh, I remember the Sonic Collection on the Nintendo DS. Before Sonic Origins, it was one of the last major re-releases of Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Not only that, but it has Knuckles in Sonic 2.
I played it for hours on end when I was 8, I lost the cartridge sadly.

Its badly visible on the 2D video, but the Nintendo 3DS version has Stereoscopic 3D Support (because it is compiled from the original source code instead of just emulation)
