JAZZ FUNK improvisation with NOVATION launchpad X

Funky improvisation using NOVATION launchpad X. I'm trying various phrases from inside to outside on Cm. The place where the LED is lit is the pentatonic. Purple is the root. It was relatively easy to play because it had the same fingering as the fretboard of the fourth-tuned BASS. I use symmetric phrases, diminished (diagonal relations), 4th voicing (vertical relations), and so on. The green LED that glows from time to time is the same as the sound I aｍ pressing. The pad also has a velocity sensor and after-touch (not used). The playability is quite good. I think it's usually used as a loop controller, but I also found it interesting as an interface for playing.

Many people use the launchpad as a loop controller, but it would be cool to use it with the same fingerings as a guitar fingerboard. Linnstrument is also a nice instrument, but it's really expensive.

What's the scale you have un chromatic Mode? Minor pentatonic?

I play mainly on the minor pentatonic scale, but sometimes I add blue notes and translate phrase segments.Where I'm hitting the diagonally placed pads, I'm playing the diminished 7th.
