Honestly I can tell for a fact as I hv experienced this it kills you slowly . Emotionally, physically, and Mentally.. Keeping quiet might seem to be the best choice as not to involve third parties. But when it starts getting so much you can always seek for help by going for counseling and therapy these programs would help build your self esteem after listening to other women's stories then you would know to take that big step.. Please reach out. Don't be silent .. Fight for your life and right.. Domestic violence can cause a lifetime damage even after the marriage. You find it hard to trust again, love again. It can turn you into someone and something you are not. I talk from experience. So help us GOD!!

Very exceptional story line,with all due respect to every woman out there, WOMEN are the spice in the life of men,some women can be like Torera while some can be otherwise but not all men are like Gbolagade......This is a movie every couple should watch; infact this movie should be added into marriage therapy programs for folks married with infidelity problems in the marriage, those married with no issues and those yet to be married. GOD BLESS you Fathia Balogun FOR THIS EXCEPTIONAL MOVIE....May your well of inspiration NEVER, i repeat NEVER run dry as we wait for the second part of this movie.

TORERA -- A true African movie depicting the evil in man that only God can discern. Nevertheless, this is classic, an award nominated movie. Kudos to the producer and his crew.

I have cried over few movies and they are Jesus Of Nazareth, Titanic and The Stoning Of Soraya M. NEVER have I cried over any Nigerian movie, TORERA is exceptional. My tears peaked at the gathering of the maidens that are going to their husbands houses. I cried when Torera (despite what she's going through with Gbolagade) praised and paint a very different picture of her marital life.Lots of women are going through situations like these, they left anyway and many more are like Torera. I hope part 2 shows us what comes next. I need to go wash my face!!!

There are millions suffering in the hands of their significant other as Torera suffered in the hands of her husband. Domestic violence must stop, speak up if you are in an abusive relationship and seek help. Good job to cast and crew.

The script didn't bring the very best out of Odunlade....... He bacame promiscuous for no apparent reason imo. Overall it was an enjoyable movie. I'm gonna surely watch out for part 2. I think I've got about 3 part 2s am looking forward to from OkinTV. Keep up the good work guys.
