    What a great video. I'm a travel agent and wanted to see this specific Haven suite, and stumbled on your video. You guys are great to watch! I not only saw the layout of the balcony (which I was looking for) but I really, really enjoyed listening to the 2 of you! Keep up the great videos. I hope you get a lot more subscribers and "likes". I liked and subscribed, so you have one more as of today.

    Even though I can’t see myself ever being able to afford a wonderful suite like this, I truly enjoyed seeing how the other half lives. I also enjoyed your sense of humor very much. I subscribed hoping for another great video. Happy sailing.

    Enjoyed your video very much. We are heading out on the Escape in a couple of week's. We're in the Owner's Suite. Next trip being planned is for Alaska. This looks like the perfect cabin for Alaska. Thank you for sharing.

    Yeah. We have had our Butler bring us drinks many times when in the Haven. We are going on a 21 day cruise from Miami to Seattle in April on the Encore. I will test it out to see if it has stopped.

    Thanks for the video tour! We'll be in the same room on May 15, 2022 for the Alaskan cruise itinerary. Really looking forward to our first time in Alaska which was originally booked May 2021 until NCL cancelled.

    Hi Biddy! Hi Geezer! PLEASE tell me you'll be on our Alaskan cruise this September :) We were on the fence whether or not to book aft or in the Haven proper, but after watching your great video we opted for aft! Thanks for the info and taking time to share.

      Hi Audrey! Thanks for reaching out, but we won't be visiting Alaska in September. Aft-living is great, just be prepared to get your steps in! Thanks for the compliments - have a great & safe trip! G.

    I will be on the Jade in March 2025 for a Panama Canal cruise starting in Panama City and ending in Tampa FL 10 days. An SN category Aft-Facing Penthouse Suite with Large Balcony. No access to the Haven proper. For that stepchild feeling.

    HI :) Great video! Thanks for posting. Do you know if the pull out bed in the living room turns into a queen or is it two seperate twin beds that get put together? If so, do you have any idea how comfortable it is??

    • @biddyandgeezer
      @biddyandgeezer  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We didn't use the pull out couch so we don't know how comfortable it is... it could be queen - maybe a full - and don't think it's two separate mattresses.

    Question - we bid on this room, if we use the Haven pool is there a dressing room in that area so I can change out of the wet swim suit? TIA and thanks for a great video!

    • @biddyandgeezer
      @biddyandgeezer  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We didn't use the Haven pool, so we don't know if there's a 'dressing room', per se... but there are bathrooms in the area that could be used to change.

    Hi.... my family and I bid on a Haven suite; ....is the Haven bar and restaurant already covered (i.e., as part of the all-inclusive drink plan), or an additional charge? Nice video by the way. TIA....

    • @biddyandgeezer
      @biddyandgeezer  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      YES. If you get into the Haven, you get all the amenities. That's what we did... we bid and got the upgrade and all the Haven 'extras'. ENJOY! and Thanks!

    How did you tip the waiters, butler, concierge, etc? Do you have to tip waiters daily, as you would at a regular restaurant?

    • @biddyandgeezer
      @biddyandgeezer  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      We generally give the butler a decent tip on day one and then a bigger tip when we leave. If they do something extra special, we may also give a tip. As far as the restaurants - buffets, maybe a buck or 2, ala carte, maybe 5 depending on service. Also , on the morning we leave, we leave a big tip for housecleaning. Since tips are supposed to be included in the price of the fare, I don't think it's a big deal one way of the other... We just use awareness and common sense. Thanks! - G

    I want to take a Mexican cruise in 2024 staying in an aft facing Haven. Are you sorry you weren't in The Haven proper?

    • @biddyandgeezer
      @biddyandgeezer  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'm on the fence about whether or not we would have preferred to be in the Haven "area". Overall, I think the benefits of staying Aft outweighed being 900ft from the Haven "stuff". We got our steps in! It's not like you can't enjoy food, drinks, and snacks in the other areas of the ship, plus, if we wanted something, our butlers were always available within minutes. Thanks for watching! - G.

    Do you feel any vibrations from the engines?

    • @biddyandgeezer

      We were on the 12th Deck... No engine sounds. A little rocky at night, but not bad!

    Hi, we’re are setting sail in Jun 24, and we were wondering what kind of clothes should we bring and the temperature so that we can dress appropriately. We are also staying in the Haven penthouse suite

    • @biddyandgeezer
      @biddyandgeezer  ปีที่แล้ว

      We went in September so a bit cooler than June. You can't go wrong with layers. Short sleeve shirts layered with lightweight pullovers or waterproof wind breaker. Small backpack for excursions. You'll love the Haven. Enjoy your trip!

    Weird question…do the deck lounge chairs move or are they bolted down?
    I’ve bid on this room as an upgrade since they show that it sleeps 4 people but I don’t want my teenagers (boy and girl) to share the couch…so I’m thinking I could drag in a lounge chair each night if they don’t have a rollaway bed for me to use.
    I also bid on the two bedroom haven suite.
    Thanks!

    • @biddyandgeezer
      @biddyandgeezer  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The lounge chairs are not bolted down. Also, the sofa is a pull-out bed - not sure if it's Full or Queen size since we never used it.
