    Hello everybody! Make sure you leave a comment or a remark whenever you feel you have something to say, a question or just to tell how this worked for you. Always get back at you!

    I was doing this wrongly, the position of my legs were uncorrected. I have just done as you explained and it worked very well. I got do it for only one minute and half. Thank you very much Tim. I am looking forward for the next video.

    Thanks, great way to explain this technique. After doing the cold showers for about a year now I finally got into the habit of doing ice baths more often and for longer then a minute or two, so this is just what I needed to get my body to warm up after those!

    Damn. I just did the wider horse stance (with arm movement like Wim) and I felt my legs get a really good stretch and pump to them. Thanks for the tip.

    I love the honesty. You explain everything clearly and when it comes to feeling great you humbly say you don't know the scientific reason behind that. For me, this is MUCH more honest than many out there who claim something (pseudo?)scientific just to give the impression of looking scientific. Loved the video and the way you explain everything honestly! ❤️

    Thanks Tim.
    I've been doing the WHM breathing with the app. and cold showers for just over two weeks.
    Ive been doing a slightly different qi gong hore stance with arms holding a 'beach ball' in front of you around chest height. ( I'll give your version a ago, after breathing/ shower, to see) what I found whilst bubble breathing that I naturally started holding the beach ball , it seemed to help with relaxing strangely, without adding any stress.

    Very insightful Tim! I would have one question though: When going in cold shower, is it still a recommendation to go in cold from the start or gradually first expose extremities and then you take it on the whole body? Its not like i am having trouble with instant cold shower, but i always had in mind the saying that you first go through extremities so that you organism can adapt. But does that still count when practising whm? 🤔
    Waiting for more videos!

    I do know how to do squats, is the horse stand the same?
    I know with squats you go up and down and with hors stand you don't

    Is there a variation with hips neutral and a relaxed lower back?

    • @Timvandervliet
      @Timvandervliet  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hips neutral is like standing normally? Just try it lightly and dont push please

      @@Timvandervliet When I was experimenting with this a while back: I got my legs into that spread position; and, with a slight raising and lowering, I could feel changes in pelvic-tilt affecting things all the way up to my neck. Adjusting for a straight, free spine, seems to work the legs more.

    His horse stance is for beginners.
    Your thighs need to be horizontal like the floor.

  • @bogse
    @bogse 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hmm, I wouldnt call that perfect horse stance, to get it perfect you toes should point forward, just like riding horse. Thats how we do it in karate and thights should be paraller to ground (yea its harder).

      I like this better. Much more burn in the legs and more heat production my wya. Try it for 10 minutes
