ok so to explain the song, honestly it's about louis' life. it has to do with everything his music, his relationships, some struggles he had as a solo artist. also his relationship with fans. the verses especially the first one focuses on a relationship he had growing up, struggling to keep it going and well while being in such a big band . then the chorus is pretty self explanatory and kinda even about his relationship with his fans and how we made it together. the second chorus feels to fit the one direction time how the pressures were put on them when they were so young and not ready for it. even the start of his solo work when he felt obliged to make poppy songs that he couldn't relate to but he moved on and how he doesn't care anymore. honestly I find this song lyrically so beautiful. one of my favourite after don't let it break your heart his latest single

His mom passed away at age 43 in 2016 from cancer (leukemia) and his sister passed away in March this year from a heart attack from drug toxicity coping with her mothers loss. He also had a kid with Briana Jungwirth in 2015 but broke up with her before she gave birth because of 1D’s Made In The A.M. tour for One Direction and Louis thought it wouldn’t have worked out but promised he would help take care of Freddie (his son). He might’ve also been talking about 1D and how demanding it was because they really didn’t have many breaks for 5 years from going on tours and not getting enough sleep and feeling exhausted. That will catch up to you eventually. I think it’s also the fact that Louis was still finding who he was as an artist and that he finally made it. He also has a lot of strength and courage to get through situation like this because of the last ones. That might help you out a bit but I feel like as an artist, he found himself. Also, please react to Don’t Let It Break Your Heart by Louis Tomlinson please, it’s a very good song and that’s the guitar you heard at the end of this music video because he tends to do that for suspense or to get you to want to hear the next one.
