Someone installed this display on a their Thunder 2 and said that they lost acceleration/top speed. Is there any validity to this and if so, how do you prevent it?

i have an ultra 2 and i just bought a brand new yamaha because in new york i hear it everyday in the news of electric scooter and electric bike batteries exploding with major damage and the most difficult according to the firefighters is that the fires generated by the batteries are very difficult to control and extinguish them even with extinguishers, I no longer leave the house without the scooter for fear of explosion and at night too I am afraid of to wake up with flames around, I would like to get rid of my ultra 2 as soon as , possible as soon as I have my M permit, for the range don’t believe it the range in my ultra 2 was always around 25 to 30 miles with normal ride

it suck. it has less options than smaller eye3 LOL. and range show incorrect. it cant be same on km and miles. is says 106 on thunder 3 yeah 100miles? but it wont show 170km LOL. we been ripoff. it wont go 170km bcoz i used 100'% battery and odo say 100 LOL yes km !!! not miles. it showld be 170km. yeah yeah. its eco mode and one motor only. but there is only DUAL option !!! wtf is turbo it wont do anything. and turbo can be twice pull throttle? turbo sshould be single/dual mode TO SAFE BATTERY!

I just installed this EY4 display to my Dualtron City 🤷 idk if that is any help. Maybe the install procedure is similar

Its possible to put speed limit on 25 km/h by display or it has a superior limit that don't let you go down to 25

it is because it wasnt meant for being in a thunder 2, they were made for dualtron X but they made it possible to connect it on any dualtron scooter
You need to give IP 65 IP 66 Certificates to your scooters ,
In europe its causing big problems because most here its rainy countries

J’ai changé le mode d’accélération au démarrage j’ai mis niveau 1 est ce que c’est bon à la longue ? Ça cause pas de problème au bout d’un moment ?
