- This year was the 49th annual balloon fiesta and I already can't wait for next year and the 50th year celebration. Special thanks to Mike, pilot of Final Frontier, for teaching my daughter how to operate the propane burner on your balloon. Special thanks to his crew and our friends, Ethan, Asher and Dexter for letting her help crew for part of this year's event.

Great video! So glad I could help balloon crew this year with my best friends!! Always a fun time at the balloon fiesta :]
Maybe next year we can crew more and learn more! What do you think?
Such a fun and epic time!
Every year!
I love the time lapses they were awesome. I can not wait to see this in person. I realized that the inside of balloons look like mandalas- which I'm kind of obsessed with creating and I was thinking in person... I bet it's going to give me so many ideas to create both beading projects or mandalas. The part that you caught of Macy running the burner was super awesome. THE PEOPLE WANT MORE.
Macy was gonna fly with them that morning but the winds aloft were cooking so launch got scrubbed. So Mike let her boop the burners a bit. Very cool. What a nice guy. Macy had jumped in and helped crew for him with the other kids in the video - they crew every day.
Also did you notice the basket that Macy got in had Don Quijote on the side. And I like the little Wyo shot out. I've watched the video 3 times already.
Checking on the Don Quixote thing….
Nice, I didn’t get a chance to go to the fiesta grounds but love that they’re part of the Albuquerque skyline most mornings.
It’s expensive! And such an undertaking to get there and all. Yeah, the balloons here are a really cool thing. Very “Burque”!
I ❤️ It and sad I missed it
I know! We thought of you often.
