    This is an amazing place. You can also climb to the top of the butte. Great video!

    You guys are so sweet whenever you guys are lost! We went there last month, it was tricky to find but it is worth it once you find it.

    These videos y’all post are spectacular. In my younger day, many moons ago, I researched and found many Indian sites, mine sites and Chinese camps from the gold rush era in the Sierras of northern California. All I have is memories and stories to tell. Our modern ability to record and share With the world is incredible. Keep it up. You two are awesome 👏

    When you said, "if you know what background mountains these are, you can find it online", I thought I recognized the background scene and sure enough...I remember hiking that canyon years ago. I read there were ruins, but I had no clue on where or how to find them...but saw a helicopter hanging out nearby...even then I couldn't see them from where I was
    Ha! It's fun to get little clues and piece them together. Thanks for not revealing too much. Although, I know those canyons better than I thought I did. Spent many days meandering the red rocks of Sedona 💗 one of my favorite places in the world.

    That place is awesome! What a view. And btw, I think you're a good researcher. You search, then search again, so you re-search. :)

    I come for the great views and awesome locations. I stay for the funny banter between the two of you. I've done the same thing as you with the ruins. I for sure have the location of one and then I get lost and end up bushwacking all over till I find it.

    Great video! My better half and I are headed out this weekend to find a few hidden gems in the Boynton Canyon area - armed with limited research, but a positive attitude.

      Good luck. I'm assuming the subway (or whatever it's called) that everyone is posting pictures of nowadays? I have that on the list, but you're right. Finding info is hard for that one. Still plenty of other stuff in that canyon and the ones around it. Hope you find what you're looking for.

    Been going to that ruin since 1988. Fun to watch you try to find it. I live in Cottonwood, so it is close for me. The Verde Valley has ruins everywhere.

      They're always so hard to get to. Every time we visit one, we wonder how many others are out there that haven't been found.

      Is this the one that is in the same canyon, different area? I haven't seen it but was told I would be hunted down if I made a video about it. I'll check it out one of these days, but keep it to myself.

      They're tough to find for sure. Especially when you hate reading. You've been hitting up some ruins too. Can't believe you climbed the ladder on that one trip. I think a buddy of mine just did the route from your more recent vid.

    Did you see a nearby water source for the ancient residents? Just wondering if this was a permanent residence or a temporary “hunting lodge.” Totally awesome adventure! Thank you!

    • @JerryArizona
      @JerryArizona  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      There was a stream, but it looked seasonal. Then again, maybe it was different back when they lived there.
