Yeah, Ayutthaya is always great fun to explore. But for some reason it always feels hot AF there, LOL.... Great coverage of this amazing place Alina. 🙂 Greetings from Bangkok, Thomas
Because I've subscribed, your video popped up and was waiting for me when I woke up this morning. Listening to your calming voice and nature is such a peaceful way to start my day!! 😂🥰
Great video. I'm a little surprised that you didn't book a private tour like you and your father did last year. I seem to remember you saying that it was the only way to get enough time to film what you wanted, without the need to be rushed to stay with a group. It is a shame that the site was partially destroyed by the Burmese Army when they defeated the army of Siam. The need to prove dominance by destroying your enemies culture frankly escapes me. Also I finally learned why Siam became Thailand. Notwithstanding the aforementioned destruction, the site is still very impressive and you showcased it well in this viewers opinion.
Wow, Interesting when you brought this video up. Thailand have so many Geography and Historical to field trip no wonders many of TH-camr stays in Thailand for long times some of them had been here for years and kept coming back. At this time it is too hot try to drink lot of waters. Alina you will be fine good luck.
Sounds like you had a wonderful time in Ayutthaya as we did. We took a tour as well. The problem with tours is there is never enough time to enjoy each individual attraction. If only they had a Hop on / Hop off bus. that allows you to explore it on your own. As always, a great and informative video , Alina. Hugs🫂 and Kisses💋 from Harriet, Jim and Yuki
Best way to explore Ayutthaya is on your own on a bike. Bike rentals were really cheap. In 2016, i think it was 50 baht for a whole day. We took a train from Bangkok and the bike rental place were just outside the train station. I think there was a short ferry ride but you can take your bike on the ferry. Parking is never a problem. You just need to use a lock which comes with the bike. It was indeed a bit sunny which is why a hat is very important.
Great video Alina! Learned a lot about the history there, and it is sad that quite a bit of the structures were almost totally destroyed. The tour seems like it would be great especially if a person is not filming like you are. Thanks so much for bringing us this video!
Thai people thank you for visiting Thailand,be you happy in Thailand and be mindful in everywhere .please take care of yourself and be always good luck in Thailand.
Independent travellers often look down on group tours but they can often be the best solution by far. More convenient travel, explanation of the sites, avoidance of scammers are the major advantages of guided tours. Less option for wandering off track and flexibility of timing are the drawback.
Hoi, Alina, super to bring in these place. Very interesting to see and follow. Not far from BKK and not really that much visited, at least from the guy´s here. So easy to go on a tour. Great work and Greetings, Markus
Hi Alina! 😄🙏👋🌟 I hope your having a wonderful day! This is really a marvelous super fantastic video! 😁👍❤️👏📹🇹🇭🛕🥇💯💫✨🌟 Wow! The ancient city of Ayutthaya looks so absolutely amazing! Also the architecture is truly magnificent! Even Bang Pa-in Palace and the ancient Temples is really marvelous! I would definitely like to visit the ancient city of Ayutthaya one day. It certainly is a incredible place! Thank you so very much Alina to share with us this excellent masterpiece video. I really enjoyed watching it! You are the best and greatest world traveler adventurer ever! 😃👍👏✈️🌎📹🥇💯🏆💫🌟 I wish you Alina a marvelous super excellent glorious blessed day. 😊🙏❤️👋🇹🇭👍✨🌟
Well, nice footage as always on your channel. The amazing thing here is the building material, all the little red stone; must be several millions per What. Ayutthaya is also the city which uses these stones as pavement for the pedestrian walkways. I have not seen this anywhere else in Thailand. If you want to spend more time, stay in Ayutthaya and rent a bicycle from the hotel + an umbrella to be in the shade all the time. That would be typical Thai style, riding the bicycle with an umbrella in one hand.
Nice video but You missed two of the most beautiful temples in that area. I don’t remember the name.My Thai friend took me to areas tourist don’t see and I was able to see the original giant laying down Buddha. The one in Bangkok is a copy. Beside the laying down Buddha was a local restaurant with the best bad Thai that locals only go to with very cheap prices.
Hi good morning I'm happy to see you good health and safe and still pretty thanks for sharing this video God bless you all ways and your family advance happy vallentine and pls regards me to your friend my sweet heart Taya thak yuo so much
Alina I would have paid anything to see 👀 your very first reaction to my comment on the last video 📹 talking about everyone's favorite discount the 5 finger discount . I was laughing 😅 😂 so hard 🤣 and played that seen a few times over each time it got better some how ! Well anyway thank you for everything I love ❤️ you alina your friend jamie from ames, iowa 😊
I was there, too. It's was nice. I also was in the river market and cool river system with tons of palm tree and banana tree forest 2 hours south of Bangkok. You can ride on the elephant, check out the crocodile, and various animals and market with various goods. You go on the river and check out the great scenery and shop. I believe it's called Damnoan Saduak market and Kha market.
Thanks so much for making this video! I visited Ayutthaya and Bangkok last year in May and as a Canadian I reaaally struggled with the heat and walking from place to place and doing a self-tour. Really tested my limits and felt bad that I had such bad memories of that day and time spent in Bangkok as a whole. So nice to hear about the history- feel like I need to go back now (at a different time of year and take a tour lol) and appreciate it for how cool it is! Remember seeing the Buddha head embedded in the tree- so cool to hear the story!
@AlinaMcleod Chinatown Bangkok (Yaowarat road) is buzzing, so many people are there, and everyone is preparing for CNY. The famous golden buddha is also on Yaowarat, no videoing allowed inside the temple though.
So hot, I feel ye....right now in New Zealand we have the same temperatures. I would like to see you wearing a hat, I think you having a point and I will buy me one. I get really dizzy from the heat, maybe because my head gets grilled....😅 . It is astonishing what them people build to worship idols
Sawatdee If you are still in Bangkok It is recommended that you go to pray and ask for blessings at Wat Traimit. There is the world's largest gold Buddha statue, weighing 5.5 tonnes.

That’s fine if you want to bike in 35C heat lol I sure didn’t.
I can’t believe I’m saying this but I wish this video was longer 😅.
