Toby walker yes I’m the same as you, can’t wait to see the back of it. I’m finding that it is going rather quickly, well quicker than I imagined. Not finding it too bad, just need to get into the routine of revising
Hi just got a warning light come and temp gauge gone wrong on my cat 301.8 been told by finnings it's a temp sensor ,wiring harness or display sound to me like it's going to get expensive so your not on your own !
If the spanner lights on and it’s asking for service, press and hold MODE and SET together till it goes into to the second menu (hold for 20 too 30 seconds). Use the arrow keys and scroll to SERVICE OFF press ACK it’ll ask for a 4 digit code, use arrow keys and enter 1234 press ACK. Doesn’t always work though !, I’m pretty sure that’s the right sequence anyway !.
Toby walker you can’t as all the dig modes run off it plus the auto throttle so I was told, JS models are bad enough for electrical gremlins without going round unplugging stuff !.
Does this machine have the auto throttle feature?

Sounds to we like a qwick hitch beep I.e meaning your bucket is not on right or the jaws keep coming open a bit

Thankyou, it was the service light and kept beeping to say it needed doing but we had done it
Yeah it's probably not the best idea but I can't imagine what it's like to operate that with the beeping going all day

Wonnorcalker. Media pleased for you that beeping gets really old really fast lol, wasn’t sure I’d remembered the sequence right !.
If I were you I would disconnected that whole sensor unit to stop the beeping
