Hell yes all the Dark Star you want and more. Yeeeeeehaw. God I wish I was alone at home with a big bag of mushrooms and surround sound system. Dreams.
Fell asleep and of course was dreaming I was listening to DS live. But the mosquitoes were horrendous so I woke up as I was spraying RAID on my arms and legs.
So....if you have put a gel tab on your tongue and get that little electric shudder you know so well...when you achieve a good spark and the this video is applied I swear it puts tears in my eyes....old coast road at Bixby Bridge, to Big Sur...windy days...grass sculptures ever changing...clouds and thermals rising...sound of a bee here and there...DS ind out of thought....ty so much for what you do...
I would put this on to a whole room full of very high people it always panned out real well oh yeah that was in the 70s what's all this gray hair? Now I have a whole lot of dark stars LOL and it is great
I think it's still a mystery - some setlist say Charles Lloyd on tenor sax and David LaFlamme, from Its A Beautiful Day, on electric violin, but mainly because they'd played with them before.
No ODing !, .. yer safe , we're all here, watchin' out fer one another 😉👍.
Thanks🙏 fer 🎵this🎶❕️
You're most welcome! 🥹

Also, there's a "Beginnings" (CTA) jam during "Dark Star" which you can sing along to the instrumental... Garcia nails it!

Great stuff, Phil! ❤. Does anybody know who was playing keys? Phil was really strong on this sometimes practically taking lead. Super delicious!
Thanks! Pigpen or Tom Constanten, depending on which keys you mean (see the source list in the notes)
Who’s playing saxophone? Is that Branford Marseilles?
Who’s playing sax /horns at about 25:00 minutes in? 8-3-69 family dog… any idea?

I think it’s Branford Marseilles. I know he has played with GD.
