Peace,

is this what it's like to have friends
I believe they are all being paid
Seems that way
nice to see you bro
cries in 0-3-5
Wouldn’t know
I M O N T O P OF T H E B E D
are you?
Anybody make inside jokes at the apartment sessions
14 hours ago?!?
Great video man!!
Are you going to Iceland too?
This looks like a logistical nightmare
That's why I love it
opinion alert opinion alert wee woo wee woo
@MomoTheBellyDancer Hot ass take right here
@MomoTheBellyDancer buzzkill
Looks like a fire marshals nightmare
and I thought I was stressed when sound engineering...
evan's a hero
Now I want a video just with the parts of people sitting around with nothing to play
Nice cuts from ecstatic singing to silent head-bobbing
I guess you could say that Evan's stress level was "through the roof."
I guess you could say that Evan’s stress level was “I’m on top of the bed”.
Adams room is so chill lol
Those are the perks of being the only TH-camr with almost half a million subs in the band. :DD
@@ErebosGR And four instruments
@@ErebosGR *cough* almost a million subs at this point. wow.
This is an equivalent of a class project but the whole school is involed
Now we just need an Apartment Sessions where all of the instruments are Casio Rapmen.
119 thumbs-up, no thumbs-down on this comment two days later... THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN
Casio Rapmen? Casio Rapmans? Casios Rapman?
I love the plural conflict
@@ryanallen2001 definitely Rapmen
Rob Lifford it doesn’t show thumbs down
Shoutout to sound technicians busting ass. Nothing works without them.
I love the bits where it goes to just the audio of that room
Legend says Evan went to mental hospital after this.
I'M ON TOP OF THE BED
This looks unbelievably stressful haha. You definitely got the best deal here Adam!
I can smell that session from here.
Wow 50 musicians you weren't kidding
Only the vocalists seem to be not stressed right out lol this is seriously awesome
Hilarious seeing the rooms during their quiet parts lol
is it just me or does this seem like the most fun thing ever
I can’t even comprehend the logistics of recording and pumping sound to the different sections. 😰
OH SHIT, THAT WAS KENNY URBAN (8:11)! That dude is one of my beatbox *idols*, and a huge inspiration in my own craft! So cool to see him here!
tfw toy bass
does playing the toy bass make you a bass player tho ?
He's racist against us guitarists
When the gig vlog gets more views than the actual gig itself. :P
omg the guy slapping his chest reminds me of this guy who would do the same while singing in a vocal training class i took but he would do it SUPER hard. oddly enough, he probably had the best rhythm of the whole class
Hey Adam! I came up with a weird collab idea the other day while watching one of your videos and I felt like I just needed to share it. You said that modular synths terrify you because you'd probably end up getting obsessed if you got your own rack, and that ( for some odd reason ) made me think of how Andrew Huang said that he doesn't know much jazz theory. These two thoughts of course brought me to the inevitable conclusion that you and Andrew should collab on a video on how to make modular jazz. You could do an introduction to basic jazz theory and Andrew could talk about how to implement knowledge of theory when making a patch on a modular or something along those lines. It's probably a crappy idea but if you read this would you mind sending a quick reply? Just knowing that you read my comment would mean a great deal to me :)
Men that's would be even better than the collab with samuraiguitarist. It needs to happen
An Andrew Huang collaboration NOW!!
Knowledge of theory -> proceeds to make monophonic blip blop sounds on a ten grand modular...
That is such a cool idea
So cool that you played with The Beatbox House Adam!
Building Site Sessions: Two 360 degree excavators perform interpretative dance.
Mad props to Evan for remembering to drink water and take some care of himself while stressed and running everything
All of us coming out of quarantine will be singing this song
The amount of work to get this things done is amazing!
You guys are on another level. Im so impressed about this organization. Wow.
What a coincidence. I'm in a production of The Wiz and we used this song for our dance auditions! Thanks!
A beautiful and happy day of music
Thanks for another fascinating video on this truly complex & joyful process - I love these!!
How much did they have to pay the construction crew to take a break so you could record?
Maybe they just stopped.
Editing was spot on during the performance, as always awesome video man.
What a GROOVE !!!! Thank you
Great job Adam. This was a fantastic season finale and I appreciate you being the official BTS videographer for many of these episodes!!
So much talent so close together. I'm jealous.
I used that tascam (mk2 I think) 4 track in front of you for years. I still have it, and the poor thing is just collecting dust.
These videos get me so excited, I just love watching the logistical nightmare and musical camaraderie of the entire project. it looks so fun in a "we survived that miserable experience" kind of way. makes me strive to be a better musician. Thank you very much for sharing this Adam I certainly appreciate it.
Man this is so cool. I wish I could be there to be part of it. Thanks a lot Adam for showing us this incredible project!
_"I was spending too much time vlogging that I forgot to practice"_
Very understandable Neely, Very Understandable.....
Hey BASS, love these!, a split screen would've been so cool on this one! Congrats.
I was just getting back from a gig and thinking I could do with some Adam Neely before I go to sleep, and low and behold, a fresh upload 👌
So much fun.
these apartment sessions always look super fun
Frickin Awesome!
Love the six minute contrast inside and out
This is a very enjoyable installment of these things
EPIC!!! Beautiful!!
Editing on point. Nice job!
Awesome ✨
This is my favourite series by you. I love seeing music nerdery(?) in action
This should go viral. To me it's your best gig vlog up to this date
Was it really only one take? Normally it’s multiple, or did you edit those out?
Normally is three or four takes
ThePopeFrancis this was take 5! Sorry, normally I would show more than one take, but honestly, I was only working with footage from the final take on all cameras, and my own footage from the small room, so it made for a better vlog just to show the final cans take
Adam Neely take 5? Like Dave Brubeck I guess
When it cuts to Adam and the vibes'd be like "in the mean time, in the elevator "
So rad, wish I could have been part of that!!!!
WOOOOWWWW!!! It is very very cool!!!
This is a beautiful thing.
what an awesome idea for a musical video, i loved it
Sounds fun.
I have that same hessian coffee sack back home.
this actually looks so fun
that sounds like the best thing AAAA
Your life as a musician...
more like an adventure!
that looks like a whole lot of wholesome fun!!!! :-)
That inspector's test valve is just a water pressure valve. For fire emergencies.
Its magick!
The roof, the roof, the roof has a choir xD
Hi Adam, I saw your video on tips for practicing music while driving and while I 100% agree the tips are good I also agree that gives people the impression that it's OK to focus on things other than driving while on the road. I already had lots of respect for you as a musician but your taking down the video makes me respect you as a decent person who cares about others and leads by example. BTW: Please record the video again, this time maybe during one of your subway commutes because the tips were excellent.
I like the music and then silence part going from rooftop to bedroom thought that was hilarious.
That moment when Adam's vlog has twice more views than the actual video of the session
The girl Who rap is so good👌🏼
The beat boxing was really impressive!
God, seeing all those people together in one place, and not a single one knew what was coming...
holy you really gotta be reading constantly. no musical context in that room.
pretty sure they have monitors, but you're still right, I'd fail this gig entirely because I can't sightread LOL
I only heard them say they had a click so that's crazy, but I think the sound engineer is in that same room so Adam might have been reacting to the sound engineer for some kind of context assuming there were no monitors
Marcello Chua no monitors, just click. But we were close enough to the roof to hear some stuff, enough to give us a little bit of context.
@@AdamNeely damn, y'all did a great job then lol
are you on top of the bed?
@@AdamNeely also, how do I send in a song for How to Not Suck at Music? thanks owo
LINQUA FRANQA IN THE APARTMENT! Nice!
That is some of the best beatboxing I have ever witnessed
Iceland, a beautiful country and a great source of inspiration for music.
Crazy 💪🏾💪🏾
i like that adams personal pa is a 4 track cassete recorder
the cuts from 6 mins in to adam are so funny lmao
The bari sax is my fav person in this video
Awsome video. Hey Adam I wanted to say I just saw a kid play maple leaf rag on a seven string, he was Preety good. He...kind of looks like you.
SO GREAAAT
It’s 2:56am in New Zealand help
Adam, this is totally wild! When will you do a cab session?
Ha ha ha ha you called a toy bass!!!! When I was watching the video on Apartment Sessions channel and you were playing the guitar I was like 'oh look Adam's playing the toy bass'
"The sound crew is working very hard." Yup, we are always running around with our heads cutoff to make sure all goes well. Ain't for everyone!
So here I am practicing my alternate picking whilst watching this video, but it got so difficult as soon as 7:55 came in and I had to groooove along
Hey Adam, could you make a video about sight reading and sight singing? Best pratices and methods on this matter? I think this is very important for a professional musician. Thanks.
Ambitious, Amazing, Terrifying :p Thanks for sharing
7:54 that's remind me so much to jazz liberatorz!
Cool Tele Adam!
*GENE*
my claustraphobica needs help .
"toy bass"
Just in time for dinner :D that rapper was so sick!
Finally man!!
Feel so much second-hand stress from watching evan
Neat! Would you have preferred to be where the action was? Are there advantages (besides AC) to being more isolated?
