What amazing acting by Lalitha chechi...She had such a massive screen presence, perfect pitch dialogue delivery and transformative acting ability. Everytime she came on screen, she transformed into the role she was in. Completely. When I saw her, I am reminded on how my mom would react. That is Lalitha chechi's biggest accomplishment. People thinking of themselves in that situation. She burned the screen with her intensity and stupendous performance. Sukumari chechi was her equal, a firebrand actor who excelled in comedy, drama, emotive roles with massive skills & who complemented Lalithachechi shot for shot. Massive respect to both stalwarts of Indian cinema. India has now lost two of it's most glittering cinematic gems and giants. Anyone who has not seen these wonderful actresses on screen has not watched cinema.
