Steve Martin is a comedy powerhouse, with his almost 50 year career spanning over comedy club stages, television and film. His career took off when he landed a writing job on THE SMOTHERS BROTHERS COMEDY HOUR in 1967, and he made several appearances on the show. His career in the 70s was mainly stand-up tours and comedy albums before embarking on arguably his most memorable era: film star. He starred in movies such as PLANES, TRAINS AND AUTOMOBILES (1987) and the FATHER OF THE BRIDE films (1991-95). His most recent projects include the hit Hulu series ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING with comedy partner Martin Short and actress/singer Selena Gomez, and STEVE! (MARTIN): A DOCUMENTARY IN 2 PIECES coming to AppleTV+ March 29th.
