Im doing the same thing. I started a couple of weeks ago and my English skills have improved a lot, I have realized that it is my new hobbie and I really enjoy learning English and seeing my improvement every week. Greetings from Argentina 🇦🇷😉
A couple of weeks ago, I couldn't say or write something correctly because i had many grammatical errors. With this method I improved a lot, I wish I had known about it earlier.
I learn whole sentences saying them aloud. 5 days - 300 repetitions per day at least. Later I don't need to translate. I know the meaning of words straight away like in my native language. And also I remember the meaning longer than by learning separate words. This method is called: chunking. It was a real game changer in my learning process and communication skills in English and other languages.😊😊
@@AsadKhan-ft7qc The most important thing is that a sentence is correct regarding grammar and pronunciation so you don't learn with mistakes. You can find them in language courses etc. There are plenty of videos on TH-cam. You can decide which sentences and words you need the most.
Thank you for sharing! Your journey with subtitles sounds amazing! My story is pretty much the same as yours. I started out trying to learn Vietnamese on my own, but got nowhere. It was only when I was using Immersive Translate to generate subtitles to my Netflix - that was when I finally began to get anywhere. I knew that you must keep consistent, so I watched Netflix with the subtitles on every day, and have been making a lot of progress. The other thing is that Immersive Translate has over 100+ languages in its selection, so it wasn’t hard finding my target language.
You made no mistakes this whole video. I would have never guessed you never knew english. In fact some people in america dont speak as good as you because of lack of grammar and or education. Im a native English speaker and im learning italian and eventually sicilian. So i watch a show in english but with italian subtitles right?? Thank you this video inspires me
I used to watch anime in Japanese and read subtitles in English. So my brain was forced to really concentrate on the subtitles since they were the only way I could understand what they were saying. If you can read Italian well then watch a show that's not in English so subtitles become the only way to understand the movie. Hope that helps 💕
That's awesome! I believe one hundred percent that is a achievable goal to reach fluency in any language by myself. I started to learn French two weeks ago.
we did the same thing i just watch a lot of english videos with subtitles at first and sometimes i watch anime too. that's how my english improve without studying it. we don't need to go to school to learn english, you can do it by yourself in your home. and its better if you have a wifi cuz you can listen to a lot of english video on youtube or watch anime that you want.
Hi Lyla I love your video and recommendations, and I'd like to say that YOU'RE AMAZING GIRLLLL. You speak very well, and I understand your videos without subtitles. Your pronuntation is excellent; you got this. I'm proud of you for expressing yourself, and I'm proud of me I understanding you. I'm motivated by you to pursue my desire to keep learning English. From Domican Republic!
I just retell feature articles and learn new words. But I have completed english courses before. I watch and read a lot in english and yet I struggle to speak. But I love english and the process of studying it doesn't burden me at all.
I loved this video, I achieved a level in English who I can understand videos without subtitles but depends of the pronunciation and velocity of speak of the person (and you speak so well!), in this video I thought I understand well all the things, so new subscriber! I'm very happy with this new step who I achieved. I hope one day achieve the fluency!
You actually got the point here, basically when you learn something find something that you're interesting too.. It feels like you aren't learning anything but you are..
Approach and Presentation - Well done; it will definitely push the learners to some extent to think and explore any language from a different point of view.🤩
I feel like English is easy to learn because so many foreigners learn it and when they speak they sound like natives. But what would I know I’m native a English speaker and know no other languages lol
Yo tambien soy de Argentina. Me crees si yo pensaba por un momento que la chica era de aca? Digo, conozco varias chicas de su edad con su mismo corte de cara y todo. Parece latina.
I thought I was the only one who read a lot of manga and anime in English, even if the anime were not dubbed, reading subtitles was enough for me. Thank you very much for your video
Omg same and arabic translators intend to cut alot of moments and u can't find it all translated!! I just wanna ask like for the words u don't understand..do u translate them to arabic or just try to get the meaning from the situation?
I would just get the meaning from the situation. I used to watch a lot of anime in Arabic on TV back in Saudia and I faced the same situation. ✨ Amazing✨ stuff just cut out. 😭
You look like Bangladeshi origin. Love from Bangladesh❤. Understand everything many accents but still facing issues with speaking and expressing myself.
Thanks for sharing, your accent and grammar are amazing, I liked the way you teach yourself, but wouldn't you mind tell us how long it's taken from you to achieve this level?
Thank you💕. It's hard to say a definite answer since I was so much in the process and everything felt effortless. Umm I would say a lot happened in one year and by the end of it I was talking in English. But I would say to stay away from setting goals and enjoy the process! 😊💕
I had always been thinking that am good in English but when i decided to speak for the first time I found myself turned to a mute girl 😂😂❤ I also crazy cause i have no one to talk with ❤
Yoo I used to face the same challenge! Had nobody to talk to in English. But don't let that stop you! Keep going, make mistakes, & you'll thank yourself later!💕
But I couldn't understand a thing. Without translation, I can talk to myself because I don't know the English language, and without translation, I can't talk to anyone. This is a impossible.
Wow awesome your English is great sis I don’t find that you need correct your accent it’s beautiful. I am also from Southeast Asia, living in states over a decade but let me tell you girl I continue to struggle with expressing myself in English. How did you retain the vocabulary?
I am an avid book and manhwa reader so I naturally gained a lot of vocabulary from there. Subtitles helped a bunch too. Basically conversational everyday English. Constant exposure to these methods helped me the most. Hope that helps! 💕
