the fucking voice on this woman ! Amazing. Should be well bigger than they are. Also thank you James Stephanie Sterling. For existing, and bringing this to my notice.
Drill Queen must be really annoyed that Jim wasn't around when they were trying to make it big. Having half a million people listen to your music has to help when you're trying to get signed.
Dat voice tho... There's certainly something special about it. If this band made more of these kinda songs and did more promotional shit they could be millionaires I think. If I were a record label I'd sign these guys on the spot.
Martin Smith Right?? I wonder what happened to her. A voice like hers, combined with the way she looks? The near-perfect combination of raw guitar and drums? How did these guys just vanish? That shouldn't be possible!
Heard a snippet of this while listening to an old Ricky Gervais Show XFM episode. Had to find it. They're really talented. Hope they get recognized some day.

This is the year 2018, thank God for Jim. I never heard this thing before Jimquisition. Who were they? Every kind of web presence of this group has vanished into limbo. What a shame, in the 70s, this would have been a world hit.
Looks more like the lead singer wants to be the center of attention and when she has to share she tries to push the others out of frame and they're getting annoyed with her acting like a loud annoying dipshit while they try to play....still looks fun though
The Flaming Blade Bollocks. If the lead singer was unhappy about her placement in any of the scenes she'd just speak to the director and have her out front of the band at all times. The idea that if the lead-singer of a band wanted to be the center of attention they'd have to physically push other band members out of the way is ridiculous.
man, this should be in the intro for the next borderlands game, it has the same style and feel that ain't no rest for the wicked and short change hero and even black dragon (the pre sequel intro)gave me and i think it really fits with all 3 intros.
How the fuck are they not signed!? Her voice is amazing and the music is technically quite good too. Are they still a band? Looks like their website is dead...
I was composing a music video in my head while singing this song in the shower today, and this is pretty much exactly as crazy and weird as I was thinking. I really love the cramped feel of the space, especially towards the end. And combined with the jagged jump cuts and the crazy-weird dancing I get a sort of... psychedelic vibe? That's the best I can think of to describe it.
I would love to hear more of their stuff beyond the three tracks on the EP. I'd love to know they are still performing even under a different name or in other bands. Hell, I'd love to know they aren't dead in a ditch somewhere, because there are fuck all details online.
+Dominick Castro Yeah, she is from Haiti and was a model there. Her name is V. Delilah, I don't know what the V stands for! A short bio is here -> www.reverbnation.com/artist_1238289/bio
There is pleanty of music around from all genres. Just because you listen to mainstream radio pop and cry about it on youtube doesn't mean that's the definition of "today's music"
For the last 4-5 years ive shared this song on my best friends birthday, my girlfriend who is a therapist says both my friend and i functionally depressed and the best she has ever seen at it
Could be Dorian, but its really close to blues scale though, and that quick D5 is used as a step to go to Db and they don't keep it ringing for long so it could not be actually in scale (which is considered somewhat bluesy move).
I think they are mostly power chords, cleaner on verses and more distorted on chorus. Bass guitar is there for whole song, so you get that heavy feeling sound. You can try out adding minor in chorus for last chords in each measures, like, i think that E and ether D or Db could be minor, but that's just from hearing, haven't checked it with guitar yet.
Man i don't even know how i get to know this song but it's been almost a decade since the first time i listened to it, of course, I forgot this song completely until i heard it in the jim sterling videos and i knew this was from a legit band lol
🎧
PLAY IT FUCKING LOUD!
PLAY IT LOUD IN STEREO DOOD!
I’m a born ear drum killer
thank god for drill queen
I missed the initial releaese by ~10 years though Jim Sterling righted that wrong.
Thank God for Jim!
Shame this group never blew up. I was feeling this song.
the fucking voice on this woman ! Amazing. Should be well bigger than they are. Also thank you James Stephanie Sterling. For existing, and bringing this to my notice.

This isn't even the kind of music I usually like, but goddamn is this good.
Jim Sterling brought me here too.
Why is this not better known? Outstanding band and track!
Obsessed with this right now! They look like they are having so much fun in the video and i'm here for it
For some reason I always thought it was JSS themself singing whenever I heard this in the outros.
Dat voice tho... There's certainly something special about it. If this band made more of these kinda songs and did more promotional shit they could be millionaires I think.

+Amelia Bee welcome to the world of musicians. millions of great ones, hundreds of famous ones

I love this song! Great singer!
Heard a snippet of this while listening to an old Ricky Gervais Show XFM episode. Had to find it. They're really talented. Hope they get recognized some day.

What happened to this band? This song is amazing
That's the music industry for you, there's no profit to be made
the music industry doesn't like *different*
@Sterling Mallory Archer this song is literally 2006 LMAO....
@@azerohiro or innocent if you look at who the big singers have connections too...

I love the singer's voice.

Does anybody know? Can't seem to find anything.
Sadly good music like this is cast into the ether and we're stuck with mumble rap and Cardi B bullshit
I honestly thought this song was from like the 70's or 80's tbh.
@@boombaby1769 in one of his videos jim mentions that they disbanded and just went on to other things
kind of like Q Lazzarus. Only song anyone heard was That Buffalo Bill Song
I really like they push eachother in the vid, looks preety fun xD
Good Song, Thank Jim for God. Thank God for the Drill Queen.

Thank God for this
What a great song.
Thanks Sterling
I wish I could like this video more than once.
I hope so
I love how there're all just pushing each other and having a good time
this rocks and thank god for jim!

play it when Pitchford goes into court next time he's sued
Use it as the background music in Pitchford's magical squirt porn.
The Jimquisition brought me here. I love this damn song. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The song starts and i hear stephanie sterling's voice in my head. And i love it! #TheJimquisition

Rip drill queen , thank you for the years of service and thank god for Jim Sterling.
Antoine Ouimet did you riot when jim lost weight?
Damn, why is the chorus so catchy....
I can’t believe how much this Fn rocks!
How the fuck are they not signed!? Her voice is amazing and the music is technically quite good too. Are they still a band? Looks like their website is dead...
Great song! They really, really, REALLY need more exposure!
Forgot how much I love this, and thank god for Jim!
Why on earth doesn't this have more views?

Had this song stuck in my head all day. Went to bed, woke up at 3am and it was till in my head. Damn it's catchy!
This is an awesome song. FENNAH brought me here.
jim sterling aside (thank god for him) this song is fucking great, i wonder what happened to this band
Getting this.
Her highs sound like Axl Rose and her lows like Tanita Tikaram.
In other words, beautiful voice
I'd love some info on the lead singer here. She is gorgeous and her voice... I love it. What other bands has she sung with?
Hah, you're not the only one. I wasn't sure till I looked them up!
Chip Biscuit it's hard to tell, because she has basically the same haircut as Noel Fielding.
+GuzziHeroV50 wait so the singer is a girl?
+GuzziHeroV50 I thought that the singer was a he
+Dominick Castro Yeah, she is from Haiti and was a model there. Her name is V. Delilah, I don't know what the V stands for! A short bio is here -> www.reverbnation.com/artist_1238289/bio
Thank you for clarifying.

was tired of extra ponctuation videos starting with this song and not hearing all of it now i know... this song was worth it!!! thanks jim
They should be huge, this is unreal
Thanks to Ricky, Steve ans Karl for introducing me to this one!

Awesome song!
man that's awesome!!! would be awesome for them do issue more stuff...
This is a freaking amazing song. i loved it. it introduced to me by Jim Inquisition.
This song is so addicting
Why the hell aren't these guys making records? C'mon, Drill Queen! I wanna give you my money!!
This is everything I need a rock song to be.
Hopefully they release some physical media soon.
There is pleanty of music around from all genres. Just because you listen to mainstream radio pop and cry about it on youtube doesn't mean that's the definition of "today's music"
Fucking fell in love with this band based off their 3-song demo, and then...nothing. Man, this sucks!
Amelia Bee didn't expect to see a tat's top ten member here :)
Thanks, Gervais, i still sing this to myself years after hearing it from his show.
Derrie T amen
Thats a voice right their
For the last 4-5 years ive shared this song on my best friends birthday, my girlfriend who is a therapist says both my friend and i functionally depressed and the best she has ever seen at it
That is one badass song
No problemo!
Love it!
Dammnit. This song is SO GOOD. Judgiong by this, they are the best band that nearly.

Great fucking song.
How did this not blow?
I love how this video is so crowded; this is the mind of a person born depressed.
SnakeTheFox is making a Battletech reference.
Their EP is apparently just called "drill Queen," according to the data from my Amazon MP3 copy.
Its personal preference really.
i wish it was synced better
Parts of the song guitar melody remind me of Chicago's 25 or 6 to 4.
You are the only person good enough to post this video.
And thank god for me... I mean Drill Queen.
It's thank God, for me.
They will get my money.
I wish there were more good rock/metal bands with female vocalists. It can work so well.
Just got there 3 track ep. Its ACE :D
If this was released today it would have killed.

Why in the living shit did these not get anywhere? 🤘
Thank God.
Hey this song needs to be preserved until the heat death of the universe
Sad it looks like this band is dead in the water with only 3 songs ever released along with a couple extra promo songs. Such a shame, love the song.
Filmed in the legendarily tiny 'dressing room' of the Bull & Gate \m/
Man i don't even know how i get to know this song but it's been almost a decade since the first time i listened to it, of course, I forgot this song completely until i heard it in the jim sterling videos and i knew this was from a legit band lol
Better than most of the shitty pop-rock you hear these days. Also, thank god for Jim Sterling.
