Wow that's great I get about 25 to 28 highway here in colorado with my 4.0 5 speed but ive fiddled with it as much as humanly possible to really dial the engine in and make it run tip top and I have to drive with a very light foot to get that if I drive like normal it plummets to about 21 or so
i have one i need to replace the transmission and transfer case. can you tell me what transmission and transfer it has? all the numbers are gone on my pieces

Sweet looking XJ Cherokee. I've heard of the 2.1 litre Renault Diesel engine offered in the Jeep, but I've never seen one, nor have I driven one.
Here in spain there are a lot of 2.1, in fact here its very extrange to see any 4.0...
and a lot of cherokees with VM diesel engines,famoud because of their head gaskets
