I really appreciate you sharing your vulnerability. A lot of what you said resonated with me. Loved seeing your pairings. I need the distraction as I live in N. Tampa. I added some of these to my ever growing tarot/oracle to buy list. TFS!
When Olga's Speaks is top of my list that I would love to acquire. So whenever the timing works out and things line up I would be so excited to support and get a copy. Love the backs by the way, one of my favorite backings I've seen. I plan to pair it mainly with Telezma tarot. Looks absolutely great with Lubanko too! One of my unicorn decks. Loved all the pairings, but Jonasa Jaus and Poesis was another fav of these. I'll have to give that a go. I've still yet to really work with my JJ decks.
I will never not regret not grabbing the When Olga Speaks when it was available. I didn't realize it was only going to be available for a limited time. Every time I see it used it seems so magical. Excited to hear that you are still working on it and trying to get it printed. Loved all these pairings, esp the Poesis, never thought to match it with my Jonasa Jaus, but I will definitely try it now!
I can’t wait for it to have an actual guidebook and to be out in the world with the card stick and box and everything I’ve envisioned for it ✨. The poesis JJ7 combination really felt unexpectedly deep. Something about it feels like it can access something deeper.
"It gives me permission to feel like it's ok to need support." This - even just acknowledging that is a breakthrough. And when you said, "who is myself?" I felt that. Especially if we've been masking since childhood, its so hard to really know who we are as adults because we've spent so much time thinking of ourselves only in relation to others
It’s such an interesting unfolding that I find myself identifying with and then rejecting and then having aha moments and then denial. A journey. But life is a journey and I’m happy to be here, with intention and community 💓
Thank you for sharing some reflections about yourself along with the excellent/inspiring card pairings. You may be interested to read a memoir by a Scottish comedienne with a really dark sense of humour who identifies as autistic. It's called Strong Female Character, written by Fern Brady.
