The fingers are real! My daughter has toes like this on her right foot except they are fully connected. They won't force the surgery if it doesn't cause any issues so as long as it's only cosmetic some people leave it.

About that girl making fun of the other girl who has a bottle, that's age regression. It's a coping mechanism and I really hate when people make fun of it as if it's weird or something. It's usually a response to trauma where you regress to a younger age. Please be aware of what you're making fun of.

That should NEVER be done without professionals in a controlled place. What they have done is a horrible thing if that is a command and is SO SO SO dangerous!! But it’s most likely bad behavior so fault either way falls onto the owners

That dad one genuinely makes my heart hurt! Awww he was trying to do something nice and it just went wrong. It reminds me of the time i was having a REALLY emotional day, bought a slice of pizza, covered it in sauce (i like a lot of sauce), walked into my room and it flopped and splat face down on the carpet. I started crying my eyes out. My mom quietly went out and got me a new one lol.

When I was younger there was this very nice man that came to our school and taught us about animals and he would bring owls for us to look at, and I loved it!
One day, I realized that he was missing a part of one of his fingers, so I asked him! He said that an owl bit it off, but now I’m wondering. Was it really an owl? If it was or even wasn’t, he was still really cool! When i went into fourth grade, he couldn’t come anymore, because he had a cart that would carry stuff around, and fourth, fifth, sixth, and the art room were down some stairs. That made me sad, but I remember seeing him at the farmers market in my town one year, and getting a plant from him!

@@madzsmith1101 my ex had this coping mechanism. I can't remember the exact details, but I believe it temporarily backtracks certain parts of your brain's development and causes you to revert to a younger age. The stress of a situation kind of causes a shut down of sorts. In the same way that some people stay silent during an argument, unable to talk due to the stress of it, those who regress do so as a way to protect their mind.
