I've been playing this type of deck recently too. I added in a Mirage Caller though just to make sure I can get 2 Corrupted Healbots destroyed in time for the full combo.
i love this deck god damn ! wondering if pyros couldnt be good tho, as an early board clear against aggro and in combination with circle + cleric, but otherwise, love this so much ^^
Pyromancer is probably really good, especially since it doubles as a combo enabler in place of circle. Could maybe cut the hero card for it? That doesn't seem to be doing much other than being a slow board clear, probably better to just kill your opponent faster and more consistently than to expect several turns of hero power value.
Divine Favor is a badly designed card. It lets the user play recklessly and forces their opponent to play sub-optimally. No clue why it hasn't been Hall of Fame-d yet.
It forces Paladin to include a lot of low power cheap cards to empty their hand, limits how much board control they can include because that can clog up their hand, forces them to play into board clears, and gets them to fatigue incredibly fast. That's why it hasn't been hall of famed. You can't have aggressive decks in a game with cards like Hellfire that clear for cheap. Divine Favor is necessary to create aggressive decks that can reset to try again if cleared, and the Paladin must draw it in time. If you don't have aggressive decks that can reset after a board clear, the game quickly gravitates away from cheap cards being used in decks. I would rather see my opponent play Divine Favor than Mind Control.
Theorist Jeff nonsense. It doesn't "force" paladin to include cheap minions, paladin includes nothing but cheap minions because divine favor enables it. Plenty of agro decks have existed without insanely cheap draw. Mind control is a powerful card, sure, but a three mana potential draw ten is arguably more powerful. And when has paladin ever lost in fatigue? The fact that you have to defeat paladins entire deck in order to win against it isn't an argument in favor of its balance.
Seriously, every other aggro deck has worked just fine without divine favor. You have it completely backwards, the rules of the game inherently favor aggro strategies and it's cards like hellfire that are necessary to keep it from being too oppressive (and yet almost every single meta in the history of the game is dominated by aggro decks). The main way to beat aggro decks in this game is to exhaust them of resources, you see it as an issue for the paladin because it's supposed to be an issue, that's the lose condition. Their win condition is killing you before you can actually do anything and they lose by you being able to do things and then running them out of cards, allowing you to stabilizing... except Divine Favor completely turns that on its head and punishes the slower deck for out-valuing (read: winning) the aggro player, allowing them to essentially restart the game for nearly free with a massive life lead. In a vacuum the card looks balanced but it's fundamentally broken in the context of the traditional strategic rock-paper-scissors in CCGs. If Ice Block is hall of famed for enabling degenerate, hard to counter strategies then obviously Divine Favor should be hall of famed for the same reason.
also lets not forget paladin has call to arms to refill the board after a clear, so having divine favor and call to arms, he never runs out of fuel, it keeps going, just like here, he got cleared like 3-4 times, and was still able to fill the board easly in no time...
Before Call to Arms was a thing, Divine Favor decks were dead 25% of the time because both Divine Favors would be in the bottom half of the deck. Only recently is it making a comeback. No need to HoF it.
altho this is a much better meta than the last ones i hate OTK and all this meta decks are not interactive, the one that draws his combo 1st wins thats it

gimmethegepgun You just said it yourself. Pyro’s card text reads AFTER you cast a spell, so embrace the shadow will trigger it and still deal damage.
