2.5 Year Update: Hello again! I hope this finds you well and enjoying your day. Pam & I realize you haven’t heard from us in a while and we wanted to reach out, after some of the awesome people like you who have been so supportive of us, asked for an update. Today marks 2.5 years since I was “Head shot” by a road raging ice cream salesman, in rural Monroe county Georgia. That incident set in motion an investigation by the local sheriff’s department, who immediately made ridiculous claims about my background, in what seems now like an overt attempt to destroy my credibility and cancel my voice. Then they doubled down, when newly sworn in sheriff ‘Billy Brad Freeman’ claimed his first 5 minutes of TV fame, where he presented false information to the public, potentially tainting the jury pool. As if that wasn’t enough to process with a bullet in my head, Then we find out the Monroe county sheriff department has had ongoing issues with; deputies recently being arrested, one of their investigations lead to the arrest of a woman for possession of cotton candy, an inmate dying during “an incident” while being booked into their jail, and most recently a young K9 losing it’s life due to being left in a hot patrol car. It’s all so unbelievable, it seems like a bad dream. Like a dream of running in place, because now the DA is delaying things for the second time! So we continue to wait... As we do, please know that we have not and will not stop pursuing justice. The trial will happen eventually, just not soon enough for any of us. In the meantime, Pam & I want to say thank you again for your patience, thank you again for your encouragement, and thank you again for the incredible support you’ve shown us through this ordeal. I Just watched this for the first time....Two and a half years?... TWO AND A HALF YEARS?! What happened to the 6th amendment with the right to a speedy trial? the fact that you and your family have had this legal situation hanging over your head for this long really tears at me, at this point it's a burden you and your family have become accustom to carrying that you won't notice what a weight it was until relieved of it. Unfortunatly i'm not from the US (Wish i was) but this is a criminal case im going to actively follow from The Netherlands. I'm pretty sure you will be acquitted from any charges made. I'm sure the jury will see the constrain you have showed in your previous military and CIA career. Shawn, i'm a Florida attorney, if Don and his legal team need any help in his defense I would offer my services pro Bono (free). Its disgusting when those given power abuse those they are sworn to protect and disregard decency to their fellow man. Even if he had been a career criminal and not the distinguished veteran he is, him and his family should have been treated with respect when going through such a traumatic moment. Good luck!!!

Can't Georgia's "Qualified immunity" has a one year statute of limitations. So they hold the charges until it expires, THEN move forward with prosecution!
They couldn't afford toothpicks when i got done with that police department and the state... that's straight bullshit. A picture is attached to a background check, police wise anyway, so these worthless fucks dropped the ball big time. They ALL need to be fired, and then charged with serious offenses. Lazy assed, no good cowards hiding behind badges. I have great respect for real police officers, but these pukes should never have the right to wear a badge ever again.

As a sheriff can you tell mm please what in the hell could they arrest Don's wife and son for if they showed up at the hospital? What the hell kind of law enforcement do you have in Georgia? I am a police officer and I hate to hear about bad things happening to good people. I especially hate it when Law enforcement are involved in any way, with wrong doing whether intentional or not. There are thousands of good officers out there who do the right thing for the right reasons. Good cops never make the news. Don, praying for your recovery and being able to clear your good name. Thanks for watching and for your support! The latest info is that the case was dropped after 3 years and 4 months, (end of April 2022) when a new DA took over and had their (also new) investigator look into the facts. Not surprisingly, they pretty quickly concluded that "Don Bradley's an innocent man" and shut down the entire prosecution immediately afterwards. So thankfully, that part is behind us. As far as the sheriff's department goes, they've yet to charge the "Ice Cream Man" with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, reckless endangerment, road rage, etc. etc. etc. and the statute of limitations expires on their ability to do so on December 27th, 2022. So that's concerning. As mentioned in the video, the originating DA sat on everything until the statute of limitations expired on our ability to sue the sheriff's department and/or the county, for their misdeeds and overall corrupt handling of the case. So, with that option stolen from us, we decided to contact the F.B.I. and file a "color of law" complaint, in a final effort to have the sheriff and his investigators held accountable for their intentional mishandling of our case and the number of other misdeeds listed in the video. Finally, yes a civil suit has been filed against the shooter and the company he represents. since he was "on the clock" when he chose to road rage from behind the wheel of their car, thendrew his gun on an unarmed person while he was still working, and for making repeated terroristic threats, while holding another at gunpoint, ultimately shooting another with the intent to kill them while he was on the clock. So we're not finished by a long shot, but headed where we want this to go. Thanks again and Wish us luck!

Just watched this video, I’m almost speechless that this even happened but the way the Monroe County Sheriffs Department treated him and his family… I just saw were the charges were finally dropped, but now I know why the corrupt DA was taking so long with this case, so the statute of limitations ran out so he couldn’t sue the Sheriffs Department!! I could go on and on but you get the point… I feel for him and his family having to go through all this bs, and hope he gets the final outcome he and his family deserves…

Medically I have a TBI from brain cancer treatments/surgeries, and developed a form of epilepsy. The worst part I've found about brain/mental health issues, is that no one can tell what you're dealing with, and finding people that make you feel less alone since they know what you're going through, or living with is neigh impossible, and are afraid to ask. The simplest legal question here is this: If the shooter had a history of domestic violence, how did he have a loaded .38 caliber revolver in his vehicle? That is the central question to this case.
The SD did a piss poor job of investigating this incident. You have a criminal (the shooter) presumed to be the "good guy" and the truly good guy (Don) presumed (falsely and incorrectly) to be the "criminal." This SD needs to be investigated by the G.B.I. or a higher agency.
The thing that keeps me from rendering judgement in this case is that I haven't heard the complete story, at least not in this interview. I haven't heard whether or not the accused actually fired his weapon. I don't know how close to the shooter's vehicle he was standing. The interview is missing a large chunk of detail.

I travel extensively to relatives in the states and I have seen and have been quite concerned about the issues with law enforcement out your way. My wife Melissa (God rest her soul) had an inoperable brain tumor. Modern medicine was failing her (M.D. Anderson), so I went to Colorado (bc I live in TX) and got the strongest CBDs I could find, and it changed her life. It didn't take much or long to notice the effects either. Within a month she no longer needed her glasses... blah blah blah. Unfortunately we ran out during Covid and the rest is history. It’s been used to treat TBI and stroke among a host of other uses such as transporting organs for transplant. Just found this channel a few weeks ago & slowly making my way through some incredible interviews. All of which have had me hooked and I've learned so much about this crazy world we live in. This one however broke my heart, listening to your wife speak Don was heartbreaking....soo as it finished I went looking for the update only to realise you guys are still living through this nightmare. this is more indicative of our legal system. or should I say the financing of attorneys. which, at the end of the day, is what the legal "system" is about. and we are all minions taught young age respect the "law". who rights the laws in the state and DC legistature? the vast majority of attorneys. have an "issue": must got mortgage your home for an "attorney". non-attorneys can only buy "into" their fraternity of wealth and "prestige". if not then those civil and personal rights of the constitution guaranteed each citizen over 200 years ago-really do not "exist"... DOS contractor, 50yoa, PT stud, great career in and our of government. never one issue with the law. fight at a bar. nobody injured (seriously), no weapons both "adults". some 10 person sheriff's department arrest both. court costs, bail, attorney... the guy has 9 physicians (previously) documenting PTSD. "sorry" his attorney tell "mike" PTSD/mental health is not a migrating factor. neither was ten (10) tours defednign our nation not from a lawyers desk of finance or a copy doughnut shop. yes, america the principles and values "gone"; wonder why in principles, values and "balls": the insurgents in two months overran/destroyed what the US stayed in Afghanistan for two decades about. why? Partially they do not BS and they have "core" principles. we do not have to agree with them..but they "have" at least principles and values... $300 per hour for an "attorney"...

2.5 Year Update:
Hello again!
I hope this finds you well and enjoying your day.
Pam & I realize you haven’t heard from us in a while and we wanted to reach out, after some of the awesome people like you who have been so supportive of us, asked for an update.
Today marks 2.5 years since I was “Head shot” by a road raging ice cream salesman, in rural Monroe county Georgia.
That incident set in motion an investigation by the local sheriff’s department, who immediately made ridiculous claims about my background, in what seems now like an overt attempt to destroy my credibility and cancel my voice.
Then they doubled down, when newly sworn in sheriff ‘Billy Brad Freeman’ claimed his first 5 minutes of TV fame, where he presented false information to the public, potentially tainting the jury pool.
As if that wasn’t enough to process with a bullet in my head,
Then we find out the Monroe county sheriff department has had ongoing issues with; deputies recently being arrested, one of their investigations lead to the arrest of a woman for possession of cotton candy, an inmate dying during “an incident” while being booked into their jail, and most recently a young K9 losing it’s life due to being left in a hot patrol car.
It’s all so unbelievable, it seems like a bad dream.
Like a dream of running in place, because now the DA is delaying things for the second time!
So we continue to wait...
As we do, please know that we have not and will not stop pursuing justice.
The trial will happen eventually, just not soon enough for any of us.

What happened to the 6th amendment with the right to a speedy trial? the fact that you and your family have had this legal situation hanging over your head for this long really tears at me, at this point it's a burden you and your family have become accustom to carrying that you won't notice what a weight it was until relieved of it. Its disgusting when those given power abuse those they are sworn to protect and disregard decency to their fellow man. The latest info is that the case was dropped after 3 years and 4 months, (end of April 2022) when a new DA took over and had their (also new) investigator look into the facts.
Not surprisingly, they pretty quickly concluded that "Don Bradley's an innocent man" and shut down the entire prosecution immediately afterwards.
So thankfully, that part is behind us.
As far as the sheriff's department goes, they've yet to charge the "Ice Cream Man" with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, reckless endangerment, road rage, etc. etc. etc. and the statute of limitations expires on their ability to do so on December 27th, 2022.
So that's concerning.
As mentioned in the video, the originating DA sat on everything until the statute of limitations expired on our ability to sue the sheriff's department and/or the county, for their misdeeds and overall corrupt handling of the case.
So, with that option stolen from us, we decided to contact the F.B.I. and file a "color of law" complaint, in a final effort to have the sheriff and his investigators held accountable for their intentional mishandling of our case and the number of other misdeeds listed in the video.
Finally, yes a civil suit has been filed against the shooter and the company he represents.
since he was "on the clock" when he chose to road rage from behind the wheel of their car, thendrew his gun on an unarmed person while he was still working, and for making repeated terroristic threats, while holding another at gunpoint, ultimately shooting another with the intent to kill them while he was on the clock.
So we're not finished by a long shot, but headed where we want this to go.

The simplest legal question here is this: If the shooter had a history of domestic violence, how did he have a loaded .38 caliber revolver in his vehicle? That is the central question to this case.

The SD did a piss poor job of investigating this incident. You have a criminal (the shooter) presumed to be the "good guy" and the truly good guy (Don) presumed (falsely and incorrectly) to be the "criminal." This SD needs to be investigated by the G.B.I. or a higher agency.
The thing that keeps me from rendering judgement in this case is that I haven't heard the complete story, at least not in this interview. I haven't heard whether or not the accused actually fired his weapon. I don't know how close to the shooter's vehicle he was standing. The interview is missing a large chunk of detail.

All they'll do is try to confirm half of the the half truths, ignore the proven lies given as statements, ignore the eye witnesses who tell a story that's 180 degree's off from the so called victim's story and send it in for trial.
My wife Melissa (God rest her soul) had an inoperable brain tumor. Modern medicine was failing her (M.D. Anderson), so I went to Colorado (bc I live in TX) and got the strongest CBDs I could find, and it changed her life. Shawn thanks for getting Don’s story out. I‘ll be contributing to the go fund me. Don should look into DMSO. It’s been used to treat TBI and stroke among a host of other uses such as transporting organs for transplant. Also, since Don literally has lead in his brain he should look into EDTA which used to detox from heavy metal poisoning. God Bless you and Don. Thanks for your service.

I hope that officer loses his job, literally he had every piece to get a proper background check on the right guy and still managed to f*** that up. And when told that he had pulled the wrong guy, he arrogantly denies and is completely disrespectful to Don’s wife. He doesn’t deserve to be called an officer, he doesn’t deserve to wear a badge if you can’t do something so simple. I’m not the type of person to say this type of thing but, WOW just WOW!!

Just found this channel a few weeks ago & slowly making my way through some incredible interviews. All of which have had me hooked and I've learned so much about this crazy world we live in.
This one however broke my heart, listening to your wife speak Don was heartbreaking....soo as it finished I went looking for the update only to realise you guys are still living through this nightmare. Totally gutted for you and your family. Like you say though you have truth on you side and great group of friends and support. I'm sure you will have your day and clear your name. this is more indicative of our legal system. or should I say the financing of attorneys. which, at the end of the day, is what the legal "system" is about. and we are all minions taught young age respect the "law". who rights the laws in the state and DC legistature? the vast majority of attorneys. have an "issue": must got mortgage your home for an "attorney". non-attorneys can only buy "into" their fraternity of wealth and "prestige". if not then those civil and personal rights of the constitution guaranteed each citizen over 200 years ago-really do not "exist"...
DOS contractor, 50yoa, PT stud, great career in and our of government. never one issue with the law. fight at a bar. nobody injured (seriously), no weapons both "adults". some 10 person sheriff's department arrest both. court costs, bail, attorney...
the guy has 9 physicians (previously) documenting PTSD. "sorry" his attorney tell "mike" PTSD/mental health is not a migrating factor. neither was ten (10) tours defednign our nation not from a lawyers desk of finance or a copy doughnut shop.
yes, america the principles and values "gone"; wonder why in principles, values and "balls": the insurgents in two months overran/destroyed what the US stayed in Afghanistan for two decades about. why? Partially they do not BS and they have "core" principles.
