Sara, your videos are greatly appreciated. We are about the same skill level and I am almost 75 years old and live in Prescott. You know, it’s easy to rack up thousands of feet of climbing there and that is a challenge for me to keep my heart rate manageable. I will ride until I am physically unable since I get such great joy from it. I’ve been riding bikes since I was a little kid.
I'm four, four-and-a-half months behind. You'll have to excuse my late comments as I'm catching up! Loving the channel so far! That crash was a good hit. Getting back up's a big deal, too. Good work! One word of advice/experience you didn't ask for (and I wouldn't normally just throw unsolicited advice out) but I feel compelled to share for you and anyone else who runs across this comment: After a crash/fall, the adrenaline can make you get up and try to get back going right away. If you have a serious injury you can accidentally make it MUCH worse by riding on it. Take a moment to evaluate your person and your bike before you jump back on and start going. That would have prevented a somewhat serious injury for me and a bunch of others I've talked to. I had to learn it the hard way and I wish someone would have just told me to take a second to make sure I was ok. This is me telling all of you out there - TH-cam creators and viewers alike - to take a second and evaluate. Then jump on and rip the rest of your ride if all's good! I'm glad you've recovered well (as indicated by your replies to other comments). I can't wait for the next chance I get to watch another of your videos!
Wow thanks so much for caring and the advice…I completely agree, looking back it was adrenaline for sure that got me back to the truck. 4 months behind is ok 😁Thank you so much for watching and enjoying! ☺️
Ok I'll add this loop to the list 😊. I may take Adobe Jack to Jordan and then Javelina all the way down. I'm getting so exited to get back to Sedona. Just a few more weeks !!!! Thanks for this video.
Love that you don’t cut out all the uphills when you edit. I want to see the whole ride! Also, if you’re ever near Canon City CO, this ride reminds me of Oil Well Flats trail system. BEST intermediate fun I’ve ever had!
For my money this was the best loop you've shared in the area. Bummer about the crash, way to soldier on afterward. You didn't ride like you were spooked after that. Bike/gear scratches and battle wounds are just a part of it and they tell a story. I've always been interested in traveling to Sedona to ride and this loop just sold it for me. My day will come. Keep riding, thanks for all your videos.
I just came back from Sedona, i'm from Tucson. I did manzanita to adobe jack to grand central all the way down to the bottom, i forget the trail but it connects to the botom of adobe and then to powerline plunge. I decided not to do the upper limit of the PP trail so i went back down grand central to manzanita then went north on javalina a half mile from pp/javalina then went back down to manzanita and to the east end parking lot 500ft south of manzanita.
- I’m super happy with your videos of all the trails I’ve ridden in Sedona cuz we seem to have similar capabilities. I enjoy watching your Sedona adventures while I convalesce in Mesa from ankle surgery.
Yikes, clipped the bar, hate it when that happens. Glad you're ok. If you decide to wear elbow pads, G-Form X3s and TLD Speed Sleeves are light protection but disappear after a while, you forget you even have them on. Thanks for keeping it real - not everyone is secure enough to show HABs and crashes 👏💪
Let me help you with the translation from Dr. Beanie Hat. "You should check out the wind tunnels?" Roughly translated: "i'm a local and youre kind of cute can i show you around?" "Im a chiropractor!" Your initial rejection of my offer might be because i look like a sweaty hippy but let me assure you, i have a job, and im good with my hands." Sara: "he is a witch doctor." 😂
Oh no! She said check out the trail! I thought she said check me out cause I am hot 😅. Nice weather! Here in Marin county, Northern California we have rain! 😢
Haha, yeah surprisingly out of everything my left wrist got pretty messed up. It dislocated and I couldn't make a fist so last night was terrible and I had to pop it back in place but its getting much bette already 🥳
Don't be shy about wearing pads, elbows and knee, especially now with cool temperatures. Eventually you'll want to try some black diamonds... full face helmet maybe also.
Lol I do have elbow pads but those wouldn’t have helped me in this crash anyway. Also way too hot for elbow pads..maybe when it’s colder and I’ll most likely never wear a full face helmet, but that’s just me 🤷♀️
Forearms and shins, you'll going to get your battle wounds there trust me. Don't know what you're carrying in your Camelback. Super glue & a half dozen Band-Aids. Super glue does the trick for gashes. I haven't seen you use your dropper post. Are you trying to work that in to your riding?
I just got an emtb , what u say now ?, I couldn’t make up a trail , it looks all the same to me , I’d need a guide , beautiful anyway , the rattle of ur gear is annoying
The ‘e-bike’ is an inside joke with the people on this channel. Sorry the gear is annoying, this comment is annoying so I guess we’re even. Yes, it is very beautiful. You can’t ride e-bikes in Sedona on the trails FYI.

I love that!! Keep riding and see you out there! Prescott is beautiful
10:15 No E-bike Don't You Dare! Good ride, Matt in Colorado
Hahah…thanks for watching! 😊
She doesn’t need an E bike. She is very young and strong.
There's nothing wrong with an e-bike.
awesome video ! hopefully one day i'll ride there
Thanks, and you should make it a goal to ride here!
You are a TOUGH. Maine girl!! Way to power through!
Hahah yessah!

Nice to meet you today! I enjoy your videos, keep them coming!
It was great to meet you too! I hope you and your team crush the 24 hour race!…I will keep the vids coming…Thanks for watching 😊
Wow, that was a hard fall, glad you are OK and were able to complete the ride. I like your commentary when you talk. It is not easy to ride and talk.
Yeah I hurt my wrist but it’s all good now. I’m glad you like my commentary 😊
Ok I'll add this loop to the list 😊. I may take Adobe Jack to Jordan and then Javelina all the way down. I'm getting so exited to get back to Sedona. Just a few more weeks !!!! Thanks for this video.
Yes, do it...its such a different feel than the other parts of Sedona. Its strange, but the way the valley goes its just a cool atmosphere!
Love that you don’t cut out all the uphills when you edit. I want to see the whole ride!
Also, if you’re ever near Canon City CO, this ride reminds me of Oil Well Flats trail system. BEST intermediate fun I’ve ever had!
Awesome!! Thank you for the suggestion…I plan on going back to CO in spring once things get warmer
I literally laughed out loud at winter hat guy and your comment about Wind Tunnels and chiropractor go together in a conversation. So random! 😄
Hahaha!!!

Awesome to hear! I'm glad you liked it...this region defiantly had a different feeling and I really loved it

Nice! Any recommendations for Tucson?
@@Sara.Jo. Blue, black or both?
The best black is the lemmon drop.
The best blue is probably star pass trail system.

That makes me happy....good luck with your recovery, I hope its all good!
Crash was legit! Trail looked really good as well. Have you ever thought about doing a walkthrough of all your gear? I’d watch it!
Haha oh it was legit 😂 ..I just started my channel and that’s a good video idea for sure
sedonda looks sooo nice, I cant wait to ride there
It is simply amazing
I find tree roots are my nemesis. Did i hear you call a root a name? 😂
Thanks for the video. Hope you're OK. I don't like watching crashes. My arm hurt looking at yours.
Thank you, yes I’m ok!
That was quite a fall. Hard on the rocks. Hope your OK.
Nice! I need to move somewhere can ride year round. Skiing is too hard on my knees anymore.
I hear ya…Skiing is so fun though…tough trade-off right there!
Great Video…. Keep living your Dream and ride your bikes..
I can’t wait for my March west coast MTB trip.
🤙🤙💥💥💥🚴🏻♂️🚴🏻♂️🚴🏻♂️🚴🏻♂️🚴🏻♂️🚐🚐🚐🚐
We only live once…have to make the best of it while we get opportunities like this!!

Haha, thank you! Gotta keep it real. I had to look up what 'HAB' was. Thats funny....and yeah, I don't care 😎
I rode Tues in SoCal and it was 85 deg. Then on Thurs when I rode it was 62 deg. I like it 62 deg and sunny. Great ride in Laguna.

Lol nice crash. A Badge of honor
Haha, yeah surprisingly out of everything my left wrist got pretty messed up. It dislocated and I couldn't make a fist so last night was terrible and I had to pop it back in place but its getting much bette already 🥳
@Sara.Jo. ouch that sucks
Those desert trees can be bullies.
