This movie was so invested in showing two aspects first defaming "Muslim" invaders and second "Lack of Unity in Hindu" Kings, making the story of Prithviraj taking a back seat only for Akki's swag movements. Which is also evident by the political pormotions its getting. I feel Akki's statement was right so much is written about invaders than of Prithviraj,,.. only thing he got confused between the movie script and school text books. Did Prithviraj killed Md Ghori ?

I don't think it is wrong to complete a movie in 42 days but number of days of movie depends on the scale of the project, the potential of the script and the vision of the director and by no means is decided by the schedule of the actor, generalizing number of days for every script is wrong. An actor who had whole heartedly committed to the character would have been a better choice and could have provided a better experience.
Ram Charan introduction scene (Police Station) in RRR was 32 days. Akshay Kumar finished his role in movie just 10 days more ? There is good and bad aspect of having 3-4 Akshay films every year, sometimes you need to take time and deliver most memorable performance.

I felt Akshay Kumar and the makers were very overconfident while promoting the film. Also I felt makers were trying solely depend on cash grabbing the ongoing hyper-nationalism rather than making people excited and interested about the film. There is an ongoing film series based on Maratha history in Marathi cinema directed by Digpal Lanjekar, 4 films have been released in the series and all 4 worked well, because they were successful in making people interested in watching those historical epics. They didn't had any special screenings for CM, Home Minister, neither they went to any world famous temple to "promote" the films.

Not watched yet but going to watch it on Ott just because of director not for Akshay,may be akshay done good job maybe he acted good but as you said from trailer itself ye kahinse bhi Prithviraj nahi dikh raha tha ,just akshy kumar with paghdi and at one point aisa bhi lag raha tha ke abhi ye paghdi fek ke Bala o bala o balaa kareke chillaney lagega........and after film releasing Audiences has felt same,,,,Prithiviraj one of the Indias great king and this people just ruined the thrill
