2019 will forever be known as the year of the Marble: I came for the weirdness, stayed for the production value (and the entertainment - no one can tell me that it's not entertaining cheering on racing marbles 😂😂)

Someone needs to donate a highspeed camera, so we can get some accurate photo finishes.
We have already a camera capable of 1000 fps.
It’s not enough, the marbles are too fast.
@@felynia_ 1000 fps basically 1 frame per millisecond, that is 1 frame per 0.001 seconds. I honestly doubt it.

One thing I really appreciate about you guys is that you managed to give events meaning. What I mean is this. Anyone who follows sport for a while knows that one of the best things about it is how spontaneous stories can form out of rivalries and clashes in events. These guys manage to make sports about Marbles meaningful by having those stories. In 2020, we have a ton of fascinating stories to build for:
Red No. 3's push for a One Marble Dynasty in the Marble Rally
The Birth of Marbula One
The Oceanics seek redemption after that awful 2019 Marble League
The Hornets look to shook the world in the qualifiers but will the Bumblees spoil their party?
Can the Savage Speeders taste glory once again?
Can Comet get one more grasp at glory before retirement?
Can Summer Sky build on her last race to taste victory in the Marble Rally?
So many incredible stories set to be told. Have a great 2020 guys, looking forward to it!
And that's just a fraction of the potential stories, especially depending on which teams/marbles you root for.
Will Ghost Plasma's return last or will he fall again?
Will Superball ever get first or is he relegated to Red Number 3's shadow?
Will Team Momo finally return after all those injuries in previous years or are they forever gone?
Will the Pinkies be able to stay in the Marble League and can they actually do well?
And how will the Raspberry Racers, Green Ducks, and Hazers fight shake out in Marble League 2020?

A moment for the ages. Pollo Loco's burst of speed is something we'll remember for years, much like the injuries to Momo caused by the fidget spinners.

TheRealTricky in all truth, the team is in a Great Depression, everyone hates them, they have to go outside with police to keep them safe from paparazzi, fans have canceled memberships, I would suggest if you want to stop supporting the Oceanics do it now, I am no therapist, I’m just a scared, sad little man.

Let's go Mellow Yellow!!! Fastest team ever 2x 5 meter sprint champs! Interesting bit of trivia: in both 2017 and 2019, Mellow Yellow lost in the semi-finals and came back to win in the finals!!! Talk about championship mentality and coming in clutch!!!
2019 is an amazing year with many records and memorable moments. I wish all the best for Jelle and all the marbles, you guys worked hard this year. And I especially hope the Oceanics will pass the crisis and be better in the next year
The O-Rangers have really good training strategy, but Green Ducks just have so much drive. Nothing can stop the Green Ducks! They're looking pretty good in 2020, too.
Comet's nearly anonymous heroics in the Marble Rally 2019 ep 6 ranks up there with the performances of the season in my book. Virtually out of the race at the halfway point, Comet followed Dragon's Egg into the low line, took the boost off the bridge and then just rubbed doors and fought for position with the bigger teams and more established marbles all the way to the finish. Fifth place may not feel glorious but I feel glorious when I watch it, which I have, over and over. Thank you Comet for inspiring me to persevere.

Pinkies: Pathetic.
Also, Cosmo in the Sand Rally was just...impressive. He really didn't look like he was in it until that final sprint. Really saved Galactic's season. (I mean, you'd understand better if you read the Rollout about them.) And SMR Race 5 was a missed opportunity for Reflektor. He was running in the top 5 for most of the race, but suddenly Ghost Plasma goes on the attack, and Reflektor falls out of the top 10.
Team Momo didn't get a spotlight, but my fanaticism won't prevent me from commending the biggest black horse of this year, that is Green Ducks. Spectacular fight from them.
That #1 race was insane, POL coming out of nowhere was crazy and in the end great victory for Dragon's Egg!

@@almightyhydra Thx for pointing it out that was actually sick! I also loved how Dragon's Egg had a clutch block to the wall at 19:36 vs Pollo Loco when he came along side.. this won Dragon's Egg the race

I was raised a Mellow Yellow fan, but the Green Ducks have really grown on me since they came on the scene. Looking forward to the next year of competition, both teams look healthy and ready to go. Thoughts and prayers to the oceanics. I'd like to see them rebound. Always tough when your struggles are played out on the world stage. Hopefully the new coaching staff can turn things around.

I honestly picked number three as my favorite marble in the beginning of the year because it's my sister's favorite number what a cool season to watch if you had a favorite marble much less your marble won the whole season!

There were some exciting races this year. This is definitely my favorite sport!

I have so many questions about these races. I didnt know this was a real thing! I saw a video on Facebook with this and thought it was just a fun someone did as a one off type of thing! I had no idea it would be so much competition and so much detail involved!! This is awesome!

It was a mixed year. The Chocolatiers had a great start, but a terrible ending of the Marblelympics. However, El Capitan managed a nice 5th place, showing he deserves to be among the great, even though he doesn't have many fans.

@@WhoreforHerbert hence why I watch. I think water hazards would be kinda neat. Narrow bridge over a small puddle.
I suggest to fill the hollow part of RN3 with some filler equal weight to the material it is made of off. It is lighter and therefore sinks less in to the sand and accelerates faster than others. If anyone thinks this is not an unfair advantage should have no problem with this suggestion. Ghost plasma the real champion!!!
It would be the #1 (or #3?) scandal of 2020 if R#3 was found to be outside of the official weights/measures criteria :-o

Guys, Mellow Yellow won the 5m race in the 2017 Marblelympics. They then defended their title in the 2019 5m race. I think Mellow Yellow is from Jamaica. I mean the colour matches.
