@@FrostByte_06 It depends on how much defense he starts the fight with and how much defense his super will give him. He can get close to 200k extra defense with 2 super currently so the best case scenario is that they give him damage reduction for the fights that blitz your entire hp bar right away.

As someone who pulled 30 features without getting beast gohan, everything he says is true about beast gohan
I feel ya. I'm on global so fingers crossed it doesn't happen with beast but I went 23 featured units without GT Duo or teq Vegito Blue and ended up red coining the GT duo

Beast Gohan is undoubtedly number 1. He can take damage, but he has less trouble than the rest of the game.
Pretty much this. Post intro he can live trunks/gogeta sa easily. Big damage sure but he lives. Plus u have taunt in the back pocket for him & it also acts as a shield. You also get to do damage that turn instead of a turn with 0 damage because slot 1 died & u revived.
Ssbe & others have far more instances where they can get caught.
Also, once we see hard hitting early bosses (game will get there it’s powercreep), ssbe will be relegated to slot 2 & the 5 hits will get harder & harder to get

I feel like WWDC units lose value quickest due to falling off faster than most other units, except maybe for Future Gohan, either because they get no help or a new meta comes out within 2-3 months.
I would really like to see a ranking every unit up until you reach Str Cooler or Int Goku black, like you did with Raditz😂
Quick tip for the calculator. If you want to make it a counter, all you have to do is click 1 and + and then the equal sign everytime you want to increment the count by 1.
14:37 They got brought up to blue level and then 17 did stuff in TOP while Gohan was still completely worthless. Gohan is far and away the most frustratingly written character in the entire series, He has exactly 2 modes. Worthless or Stronger than everyone else just because.
Even when they do snap their fingers and bring everyone up to speed they still end up being useless at the end of the day. Dragon Ball is still a two man show none of the power boosts matter at all.

IDK about the 7th anni not being as loved if it was same time. I started Dokkan like a month before 7th anni and while yes it took like a month after 7th anni to just beat Broly, I still loved and enjoyed all of it. Cool characters, awesome EZAs, interesting gimmicks with locking for Boujack, debuffing and slot 3 supers with Omega, absorbing Ki blast supers with Super 17, long ass fight with the Shadow Dragons, and of course the AoE and double supering for Broly. I enjoyed it cus while it could be frustrating, it kept me on my toes the entire fight and I felt such an accomplishment to beat it.
To be fair tho this happens for most fights. My first win on Cell Max, MCC, and Fusion Zamasu I felt the same way. Double for the no items as well.
Please do a vid on WWDC 2023 LR Trunks. He's not as bad as you're saying man.

Most of the time I build a team with 2-3 attackers and the rest being really good tanks and or supportive tanks
Also Teq Ultimate Gohan I didn’t strongly like cause I felt like something was off about him and whenever I used him he often didn’t build up as fast as he did for other people and YES I kept him in rotation regularly slot 1-2; but Lr Beasthan feels just so good now

@@CJ-wd7pb He may have low damage output but he ain’t doin nothin. Aside from that tho the boy does so much more than that and still defensively isn’t exactly what I’d call bad. The giant form is still the best of its kind and always helpful to have around so let’s not discredit that, he gives the team ki when he’s hit which is a small but noteworthy ability, if you have beast you can attack break which is objectively good, his big heal and extra damage reduction may be difficult to achieve but there’s longer content now that makes it possible, and he has a stun which can’t be used in most of the current content but at least in cell max later on it can be used and that could be very helpful.
Listen they not wasn’t gonna give us teq ultimate gohan’s eza all this time because they know once they do it’s pretty much a wrap for any tier list… that’s why they’re waiting for the meta to get to a point even him now will get one shot even after a stacked super from a normal attack 💯 which might be now but even now if he eza he is without a doubt gonna be better than most things that release after him 💯

beast is 1 and vegeta is 2 and they belong in the same tier and i see no reason why they shouldn't be. Vegeta's revive is easy to get in the current landscape of the game, and essentially after 1 or 2 hits hes tanking the same as beast. His revive is also better than beast's taunt. If leaderskill isn't included then the gap really aint all that
My personal hot take is buutenks being best EZA of 9th anni. Dude pretty much cant be replaced on extreme teams, performs awesome and wont let you down. Has a very good team with android 21 and can perfectly run with her on rotation.

during his reign getting his 18 ki was very valuable because it stacked attack which made his active skill hit way harder.

Beast does have pretty lack luster animations though, and he's missing things like a counter or nullification. The fan made animation of beast is 100x better
Counter/nullification is pretty niche, so lacking those being his downsides means good things for beast

Everyone was saving for the 7th year lrs to play with their teams, relatively few took the luxory of summoning on other banners and actually getting those units. Especially ginyu where you needed him and both banner units, or pull the banner units during the uth anni if you were lucky.
"You don't need damage." Not true when you have Beast Gohan fight who needs to do enough damage in order to actually hurt him, otherwise he just nullifies any attacks thrown at him. And knowing how things will go, we'll get more bosses later on whether it's Saiyan Day, WWDC, 10th Anniversary, etc. and we'll get more bosses that nullify even higher numbers of damage dealt. Yes, it's preferable to have better defense than offense, but it can't just all be defense.

He doesn't really get anywhere with his buildup anymore. His guard wears off and he's at like 800k-1m defense with nothing else.
