Dončić - č and ć are the two different sounds. Č is harder (ch - like in the word chair). Ć is softer, and it's similar to the Italian word ciao ( meaning hello in English). This guy pronounced them the same, and they are not.

To make it easier for people, I pronounce it often as "k" as in English word "King" :-). Like you as in Donchik. I do not expect people to twist their tongue immediately and get it right. I do not think that I met a foreigner who can pronounce " č and ć correctly, but I don't expect them to.:-).
