This video is almost 4 years old and this product has since been discontinued at IKEA. The idea for a DIY large frame is still prevalent so I think this video can still be a useful idea if one comes across a similar product or even by layering a shadow box.

Great job! 👍🤗Thanks for sharing.🤗 I have a few tremors sometimes. So I thought this kind of tool for my stamping could be a big help now. Then I found out that there is a monopoly on this tool. I get it, patents, expenditures, free enterprise and $$$! But I'll never understand gouging! So that leads me back to your wonderful tutorial!👍👍it was excellent and very easy to follow so I think I'll make one too! I hope I can do as good a job as you! Keep DIYing!!!👍💙💛💚💜

Genius idea. Did you test it with cling mount stamps?

That was genius! I bought 3 stamp positioning tools and gave 2 away in giveaways before they pulled the Hampton arts 1 off the shelves.

Yeah i was into the WRMK one as I am a big fan of their products but that was pulled too. So I said I won't pay for the high dollar ones and will go the DIY way. Thanks for watching.

Do you just put the magnetic sheet in the right? You don’t have to raise it up at all?

sophsterm no I didn’t initially then I added a couple sheets of Dollar Tree foam and it worked a bit more smoothly. Thanks for watching!

By chance do you know the correct name of this type of frame. I can't find out on ikea.

Hi Mary this video is about 4 years old and I wasn’t aware the product has been discontinued. Thank you and I have pinned a correction comment.
