Great ep. I love the rotating cast on different days of the week- it keeps things fresh. It's been good already, but I feel like Mike and Jourdan are hitting their stride when it comes to chemistry with Dan and Marc.
This is my weekly Jourdan Rodrigue appreciation post. She's so goddamn intelligent and funny and brings so much light to the show. Her laugh brings me joy.
I'm halfway through the episode where one game was just introduced with the muddy Kettle matriarchs backyard wrestling in their front yard to the spectacle of overconfident youth followed by the next game being introduced with a thrashing speaker-induced concussive visage of an angel melting into a devil mirroring our adrenaline rush as we race onward to the looming precipice. Wow-- that's how I want to fell these great football games!
I can see Danny with a diamond stud. And Marc, well Marc needs some gauges, black eye-liner, and some Nine Inch Nails playing whenever he enters a room.
At the after game press conference, Mike Tomlin will say "Well we were down at halftime, but I told the boys... 'She's a big old broad, you better keep swinging'." He will then beat a journalist to death with a microphone, and walk out. And only we will know The Quiet Storm predicted it.
Jourdan giving Justin Herbert a shoutout on this game is refreshing! Dan cherry picking a locker room clip to state the JH10 has no juice is very cringe. Take a look at Herbert’s body of work and electric enthusiasm after making a play on the field and see how fired up his team gets on the sideline. Tell me you don’t watch the games without telling me. All anyone can talk about on this game is how great Burrow has been and will be a test to how good the Chargers defense actually is. Keep overlooking Herbert’s MVP level of play against the Bengals mediocre defense.

Dan, I love you buddy, but the Bills have beaten KC (at Arrowhead) in 3 consecutive seasons in regular season contests. They’ve regularly taken them to the brink in the playoffs like no other team. They know they can beat the Chiefs. They just have to beat them in the playoffs
