Removing a Tesla Model 3 Hood

Removing the Tesla Model 3 hood. Elon said this car was build from the ground up with range in mind and it shows. This hood was the lightest hood I've ever felt off of a normal production car.

My friend w as quoted £4000 to spray the hood because the garage said they had to isolate the 400v
Does that make any sense to you?
