    It's funny, but Carnival might have the most first and third party support of all the Domains of Dread. All of the Grim Hollow stuff and any pdf or art book about Innistrad can be used to spice up just about any domain. The Carnival specifically gets a lot of extra support if you own the Heckna! book or have read through the Rakdos section of Guildmaster's guide to Ravnica.
    And who's to say there's only one Carnival wandering through the mists.

    • @JerodLycett
      @JerodLycett 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh, but what if there wasn't? Imagine two showing up and competing?

    • @CitanulsPumpkin
      @CitanulsPumpkin 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just two? I was thinking six. The one detailed in Van Richten's. Another run by a Tiefling planeswalker born on Innistrad who ended up on Ravnica, joined the Rakdos Circus, and has taken his show on the multi planar road. A third run by an undead warlock ringmaster whose patron is literally Jack Skellington. A fourth that is lifted straight from the Heckna book. And at least two that are really just roving bands of thieves that all share the Mist Walker Dark Gift that lets them wander the mists freely, but gives them levels of exhaustion if they stay in one place too long.
      It could even be the case that all or most of the Ringmasters of each Carnival know each other and meet up in a mist shrouded clearing once every few days or weeks to compare notes, spy on Dread Lords, talk about which domain borders are closed and how to bypass their borders, and exchange secrets or info about any new groups that got sucked into the mists.

    Now that the book's been out for a bit... and after listening to this, I'm beginning to think the carnival might make a great player hub. The players find themselves kidnapped by the mists to one of the other domains of dread, and during their adventures they come across the carnival. By traveling with the carnival or by buying talismans from the Litwick Market, the players are able to hop to other domains for continued adventures, all while trying to find their way back home.
