This has been going on for too long. I just can't stand the name "Spanish Steps". There is no such thing as Spanish Steps in Roma. It's a name for the tourists who cannot deal with the name "Scalinata di Trinita' dei Monti" or "Staircase to the Trinity of the Mountains", which is the church on top of the stairs.
Maybe they are in love with the camera lens or they just like to be admired and get attention😀. Either way, they have a charming presence in front of the camera!
